Amazing place! Los of sweet options...not only ice cream. The line moves quickly. They offer samples. Everything is soooo good.
Staff is very friendly too.

Their ice cream isn't BAD by any means, just not amazing. Their cookies were recommended by someone on r/southbayLA and I tried a chocolate chip that was meh--hard as cardboard which probably makes it a good base for an ice cream sandwich, but not a great cookie on it's own. This is a good place for toddlers and small children. If you're an adult you probably want to go to the salt & straw nearby

Ice cream is great but unfortunately the cookie was stale (we bought in two Sundays and both times we had stale cookies)

Their ice cream is something special. There are seasonal flavors and your old school favorites. The cartons change often, so multiple visits are warranted.

For an ice cream lover, I would have to say there is a good balance of overrun and fat content. The structure has a good, solid mouth feel without too much compactness. I especially like how their chocolate flavors give a sense of cocoa and not just commercial sugary chocolate. Seasonal flavors also fall in line with the same attention to detail.

Stay away from corporate-run chains and give your love for a cold treat to folks who have a passion for it.

Manhattan Beach Creamery isn't just an ice cream shop—it's an essential part of the MB experience. Having a scoop (or the legendary Cream'wich) while strolling near the water is pure, Southern California bliss. If you're looking for the perfect treat after a day at the beach, this is your spot. I thought that this place was a wax museum because the people that works here is looking at you but doesn’t reply or even say ‘hi’ or ‘can you repeat it again’ or even move around while the store is with clients inside with questions. This place only has little kids attending to public in a Sunday evening while the area was packed. Also the ice cream is pretty lame compared to Salt & Straw.

Really loved this cute little spot — so many options for fun treats, perfect to bring down to the beach for the evening.

The ice cream sandwich selection is incredible, something I’ve never seen is such a wide variety of ice cream sandwiches available. The cookie was perfect and the ice cream, cookie dough, really made it.

About 4 guys standing around talking to each other and only after about 8ish minutes did someone acknowledge me. I was the only customer in the store at that time. Not cool. Ya it's just ice cream, but not good customer service. Also then took 15 minutes to scoop a single cup with whip cream. ??? Won't be back

This was a return visit after 8 years and I have to say it did not disappoint. They are busy, but the line moves quick. The staff is super friendly and the ice cream is DELICIOUS! My favorite flavor is the taro oreo and butter pecan with the chocolate dipped sugar cone. They also give samples so don’t hesitate to ask. Definitely worth it!

Very good and quick service on a busy Saturday Night

Even though there was a long line, it moved super quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent, staff was friendly and efficient. The ice cream is delicious and clearly high quality. Some flavors were a bit too sweet for my personal taste, but overall it was a really good experience. I’d definitely come back!
