Simmzy's Restaurant Manhattan Beach

Me and my boyfriend came here before a flight and the food here was amazing. Apparently the taco Tuesday deal is even better than their regular happy hour deals so we must come back for that. The food is amazing and their fish taco in particular is really good. A five minute walk from the beach too so the location is amazing.

This place is always packed, so I expected it to be really good. It’s solid, just not amazing. We went on a Tuesday when it wasn’t too busy, which was nice. The atmosphere is fun and they have a good beer selection, but seating is tight. The wings had a nice crunch but were a bit sweet and overpriced. The burgers were okay, but the meat texture wasn’t great. I liked it, just wasn’t blown away. I’d come back and try something different.

A hidden gem in the city

Food was okay. Service was terrible, I’m from Australia so maybe the standard of hospitality is better where I’m from but this place was beyond disappointing. We booked a table for 7pm, when we arrived there was no table set up for us and we were then made to wait 25mins for the next available table…, once seated, food was okay as well as service from our table waiter however once the bill came out they presented us with a bill well over advertised price. We came on Tuesday night and as advertised as “tacos Tuesday” all tacos on menu were supposedly went to be $3 however the bill did not honour this price, when we questioned our waiter she blamed it on “system failure”….

All I can say is if you choose to dine here, be vigilant and aware to the fact they will scam you if they can

This place was recommended by a local. It was all she described and more. Taco Tuesday Happy Hour was perfect for us. Great margs and beers. Tacos and tostadas on point!

The food was extremely FLAVORFUL & TASTY
seasoned the fries were on another level of flavor, the burger exceeded my expectations 10/10, the salad was definitely 10/10, very fresh with an extraordinary flavor, definitely prepared by an excellent Latino chef, and with an incredible atmosphere, although it should be mentioned that the waitresses could have been a little more attentive to the customers, especially since we were visiting the place for the first time, but other than that it is clean, pleasant and delicious.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and despite how packed it was, we were seated within five minutes. I ordered a well-done cheeseburger, but it came out medium well. My fiancée didn’t want to make a fuss since she had already taken a few bites and eaten some fries, but I still mentioned it to our server, Lorraine F.

She was incredibly professional and immediately brought out a brand-new cheeseburger and fries—truly top-notch service. If you’re visiting the area, make sure this place is your first stop.

Stopped here while waiting to fly back home to Australia. Great atmosphere, staff, good tunes, and awesome food. Beautiful spot to sit when the weather is nice and you are after a nice feed and some cold beverages. Reminded us of home.

We’re looking for a place to have dinner , the place looked full but we were still able to get a table. The ladies ordered a pitcher of Sangria and the boys got a pitcher of pale ale ,both were great . For food we had tacos and Korean chicken sandwich’s all were very tasty . I highly recommend
