Holy smokes, this joint is amazing. So authentic, every cut is perfect, selection is great. Just do the “trust me” menu selection and have faith this is going to be some of the best sushi you’ve ever tasted. 5 stars all the way.

Very cool spot and some of the best fish I've ever had. Don't expect a sushi bar like everywhere else. You order a planned dinner. I will go back.

This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. I didn’t like nigiri until I experienced SUGARFISH. They have paid attention to the details, including having unscented and scented soap options in the bathroom for before and after you eat. Additionally, some of the items on the preset menu were substituted, but the things they were replaced with were so delicious.

This is a great place for omakase at an affordable price. Everything here is really good, especially the hand rolls. The wait can be very long so plan accordingly, but certainly that speaks to the taste/value combination. Additionally, there is a no-tipping policy so you know what you’re paying.

This restaurant has become our favorite Sushi place !
We come here late night on Sundays to beat the lines (too bad they don't take reservations) . They are a very small restaurant with about 10-12 small tables set up in a cozy huddled up space.
The Sushi they serve here is one of the best I have ever had. They have lot of preset menu experiences , I recommend trying the mid level that comes with Blue Fin tuna. The Sushi here is truly melt in the mouth soft !
I just wish they took reservations so that we could visit more often .

First trip to Sugarfish lived up to the hype. Went with the Trust Me set and was super satisfied. Everything was super fresh, the ponzu was very well balanced, and the added albacore belly gave otoro a run for its money. Great experience with no wait as a solo diner.

Sugarfish had it all! This is the best sushi I've ever had, asking with one of the best experiences ever. The service is top-notch. I went with coworkers who spoke very highly of it, and it did not disappoint. Everything I tasted was nearly perfect. Surprisingly, it was moderated priced for an excellent meal. I highly recommend Sugarfish, and I will be back often.

Fantastic sushi. One of the best I've had in the US. Price is a little too high for the quantity. Parking is not good.

Absolutely amazing service, everything is clean and everyone is nice, the food is exceptional, would 100% recommend.
Parking: Somewhat easy, sometimes occupied/full

I always find that Sugarfish varies a lot in the quality of the fish and the size and thickness of the fish at each location. I don't know if it was just today, but the sushi here is way behind the sushi at the Santa Monica location I had a few days ago. It's not bad considering the price, but it's a shame that you can get better sushi at other locations for the same price.
