FanSea is my go-to sushi spot in Manhattan. The staff is incredibly friendly and on top of the restaurant. Sushi is super fresh. I love the Refreshing roll, Seaside, and Beach Boy. Thursdays are BOGO! Do not miss out on this hidden gem.
My daughter selected this place and it's a new favorite. Fansea is a sweet little spot with a great vibe, awesome menu and delicious sushi. Their handroll was terrifically unique in a very thin rice paper which made a fat nori hand roll seem kind of clunky by comparison. It let the blue crab shine. When I first walked in I was a little leary as there were only a couple of tables with people at them. My opinion quickly changed as the flavor of the food and the service was really good. This is a little hole in the wall place but I would definitely go back and recommend it.
