“Customer service is amazing. I am visiting from NY and would 100% recommend coming here. I wanted to stop in for the viral fruit pastries, after being disappointed at different bakery called Altadena Bakery. I got the mango one and it was amazing. My boyfriend also got a cappuccino which he enjoyed and we both got complimentary macaroons which were excellent. If you want to try the fruit pastries definitely come here!“

“I love this place I would travel so far just to try the cookies every week as they change flavors. It’s so exciting you have to try this place. Specially, in Inglewood the energy is so cool.“

“got a couple of cookies from crumbl. the one with the frosting and chocolate chips on top was super soft and had a nice balance of sweetness. the other cookie, with a simple but great flavor, was equally good. both were fresh and perfectly packed. if you’re into cookies with a rich, indulgent taste, definitely give these a try.“

“Good selection with interesting flavor options such as peach (limited) , matcha, sesame and Ube. I personally like softer ice cream more but this is a very popular Korean inspired ice cream place that has a very thick and rich

“When I think of Melo Melo, I think of a homey type of feeling of comfort. Not only are their desserts both delicious and the right amount of sweetness, it reminds me of my mom and grandma making Vietnamese desserts called Che where some have coconut milk and it just gives it the right touch of creaminess to the dessert. You can feel the love that was put in with each bite. For Melo Melo, even though it’s not che, I still get that same nostalgic feeling and my heart is full (and stomach too). They have a wide range of flavors, from different fruits, to jelly, to childhood favorites like ovaltine or oreo mixed with their signature coconut jelly, and more! They just came out with a Sunset Series, the Sunset Mango Coconut, Sunset Sticky Rice Coconut, and the Sunset Durian Coconut. I also grabbed a jar of Matcha Coconut to go. I love the fact that the desserts aren’t overly sweet and get the sweetness from the fruit or mix-in. The soothing coconut cream jelly/pudding consistency makes it a dream to slurp or in my case, inhale the entire thing. Also just upon opening the jar I have instant joy from seeing it jiggle jiggle! The Sunset Mango Coconut reminds me if a mango sticky rice dessert had a baby with coconut pudding. Genius! The Sunset Sticky Rice Coconut reminds me of the glutinous purple rice vietnamese che, with the coconut cream on top. Mmmm! The Sunset Durian Coconut.. OMG.. if you are a durian lover… yes! And yes!!! For you haters out there.. It is the king of all fruit.. Only kings and queens can handle it! Jk! It tastes fresh and not rubbery as if it was frozen and thawed. The durian was creamy and custardy, and then adding another layer of texture coming from the sticky rice, and POW some velvety coconut jelly to put it all together. My absolute fave! The matcha coconut was delicious and not too strong in matcha flavor. I’ve had where matcha was so overbearing and bitter that it was difficult to enjoy. Not this one! This one was super smooth and slurpilicious! Right amount of matcha, right amount of coconut where it doesn’t overpower the green tea, great texture and enjoyable! Yes I devoured that! Basically I inhaled everything because the desserts were light and not heavy! I can totally eat this for days!!! So whoever said they don’t have room for dessert.. that’s a lie because there is room for Melo Melo!“

“Really good stuff here. Really catchy and popular spot on weekend evenings. Recommended was the injeolmi flavor, which has red bean, tofu, and a someqhat coffee taste. This was a must get. The grape and strawberry for those who like fruity. Also had the cinnamon toast crunch, really good“

“BEST wagashi in the West Coast indeed!
I waited to try the other wagashi place we found in the Sacramento area before reviewing this place and therefore we conclude, they have the best mochis!
Staff is super friendly and kind 😭 would really love to go here again if ever we are down in SoCal!“

“This is said to be the oldest and most beloved mochi shop in the area.
We picked up a 10-piece assortment that included ohagi, injeolmi mochi, steamed buns, and various manju.
The store itself looks like it’s barely hanging on—honestly, you might walk right past it if you didn’t know what you were looking for.
But the flavors are simple, clean, and feel homemade. No artificial aftertaste or overpowering sweetness—just old-school comfort.
I especially liked the ohagi and the cinnamon manju.
One of my companions loved the injeolmi mochi and also the cinnamon manju, while another really enjoyed the steamed bun and the white bean-filled manju.
If you appreciate traditional flavors and a nostalgic, home-style vibe, this place is worth checking out.“

“Fantastic treats in a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the miso brown sugar latte: rich expresso flavor that goes very well with the brown sugar, the miso is on the lighter side. The grapefruit sparkling water, tho not very fizzy, tastes exactly like a fresh pink grapefruit and is super refreshing with a hint of bitterness. The strawberry cream smoothie is similar to a frappe, light on the sweetness and very creamy. The mango bingsoo was loaded with fruit and delicious. The hojicha bingsoo is as light in the flavor but still very enjoyable. My only complaint is that the cream in the hojicha bingsoo is too heavy and leaves a layer on your tongue. Overall a fantastic cafe!“

“My favorite place to hang in LA. The staff is super sweet, the food is fantastic, the drinks are amazing, particularly the Ginger Margarita, the atmosphere is gorgeous—whether you’re inside the stunning deco bar or outside on the beautiful patio. It’s a true gem.“

“Simply a wonderful ice cream and candy store with old school charm.
With different types of frozen bananas, cookies, and, of course, house-made flavored ice cream, this is a bit of a paradise. Personalized ice cream sandwiches also adorn the menu, or a nice ice cream shake.
For the seasoned, there are also hand-packed cartons available.
Their ice cream is something special. There are seasonal flavors and your old school favorites. The cartons change often, so multiple visits are warranted.
For an ice cream lover, I would have to say there is a good balance of overrun and fat content. The structure has a good, solid mouth feel without too much compactness. I especially like how their chocolate flavors give a sense of cocoa and not just commercial sugary chocolate. Seasonal flavors also fall in line with the same attention to detail.
Stay away from corporate-run chains and give your love for a cold treat to folks who have a passion for it.“

“It’s a dog eat dog dessert war zone over in sawtelle and Brian’s shaved ice is as much of a contender as any other. It’s simple, if you like shaved ice with tropical flavors, you go to Brian’s shaved ice. They are pleasant and the service is quick. I’d only every place locked in and specialized in one such speciality such as this.“

“A must-visit every time I'm in Santa Monica. The flavors are so fresh, and the variety is fantastic! My favorite is the tantric tart, which tastes like lemon pie! Their vanilla is also something special. They have some amazing herbal flavors too, like lavender and fresh mint, that you probably won't see anywhere else. You can even sample all the flavors before you decide. There are lots of toppings to choose from, including brownies! Updated from previous review on 2025-09-01“

“Cassetta is such a fun spot if you’re looking for unique drinks and treats. Their menu has so many creative options; from refreshing drinks to desserts and even soft serve ice cream. I tried a couple of their drinks and they were not only delicious but also beautifully put together.
The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It can get busy at times, but I went when it wasn’t too crowded and the vibe was really nice, bright, airy, and very chill. Plus, they’re pet-friendly, which is always a big plus.
If you’re in the area and craving something on the sweeter side, I definitely recommend stopping by!“

“I was absolutely thrilled to discover several hidden secrets in LA that serve pastries without being overly sweet! Their cream puffs strike the perfect balance of sweetness and are incredibly delicious. I accidentally ended up ordering the largest ones—a combo of chocolate and vanilla cream. They’re beyond amazing, but I have to say, the vanilla cream puff is an absolute must-try! Now I am going to stop here because just thinking about them and they’re making my mouth water! 😋“

“Great Donuts and good service. The man is nicer than the lady, she sort of rushes you to pick which Donuts you want and acts like you're irritating her..Their donuts are actually better than Randy's which everyone makes a big deal about when the donuts are really just okay..King donuts are always fresh and tasty.. I wish they would take more care to create signs that were written in proper English though.. For example; they have one sign that says Buniness when it's supposed to Business.... and there are multiple other that are written in fractured English..“
