The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a corner coffee shop located in a busy plaza in MDR, known for its friendly staff and inexpensive drinks, most of which cost less than $5. The brewed coffee has an average taste. Marcus is now running the Marina del Rey store and he is fantastic and the whole staff are upbeat cheery and there to serve. The espresso is especially fantastic when placed in the iced Americana specialty. However, there have been issues with order accuracy, particularly with drink sizes, as some customers have reported receiving a smaller size than what they ordered. One customer mentioned that their extra-large iced coffee had too much ice, resulting in less coffee. A nice barista heard me out and refunded my order. He was so kind and quick, I really appreciated his response and compassion.
