Service is friendly and fast food is made to order. The empanaditos are also very good, and the desserts are also very delicious. This restaurant is centrally located and can be busy at times. “Love this place! Great coffee, and yummy avocado toast. Friendly staff, quick service and healthy short menu. Sit at the long natural wood shared tables. BTW a huge coffee grinder in the shop is fun to see. Open to the outside so you can sit outside in good weather. Hilarious the famous tandem bike that the shop kept outside - the thief was caught on video stealing - showed up dumped and returned, likely due to being all over the news! Lol.“
“Took a quick trip to Monterey this weekend, and I'm glad I got to try Captain + Stoker. I'm ashamed to admit, but I think I've become a coffee snob over the years. The flavor has to be just right -- not too bitter, dark, or acidic.I gravitate towards toasty flavor profiles, and the latte I had at C+S perfectly hit the spot. This is their smaller location (without seating), and we'll be checking out their larger one later today before we head out of Monterey! (Need to get it at least one more time before I leave)“

“If you want healthy, come here! I had a chia based bowl and it was delicious with fruit and chocolate nut sauce. My husband had a grain bowl and acai bowl and loved them both. All the recipes were healthy and without added cane sugar. What a joy to find good, pure food!!!“
“We are not from around the area, but found Perfectly Pressed on google. After a weekend of indulging in a lot of great food in Monterey, I wanted something healthy and refreshing. The options here were great and the pricing is fair for what you get. The service was wonderful as well and the lady that helped us was friendly and attentive. I got the purple haze smoothie and I’ll be dreaming of it until I get to have it again. YUM!“
“Great customer service and a variety of delicious food/treats to choose from. If you actually know how authentic mexican food taste like, you will definitely be satisfied. Hidden gem for sure. We stopped by for a quick bit and we got just what we were looking for. The regular burrito is shareable and very tasty. We ordered it with chorizo con papas and a torta with chile verde. Soooo good! The chile verde reminded me of my moms cooking. Much recommended and a cute spot to get some nice pictures. It's decorated nicely and very clean.“

“One of the cutest little shops in PG with a fun atmosphere. The ladies behind the counter were super sweet and efficient. We enjoyed their table games while waiting for the food.The waffles are delicious! We tried a couple flavors and they were super tasty. The shakes were more disappointing but not terrible. Not sure if it was just the two we ordered but there really wasn't any flavor. We will be back for the waffles but will skip on the shakes.“

“This is my first visit and I'm beyond pleased. I tried a panini and soup. The soup is mostly broth based. Savory and sour, they started with a homemade veggie stock and layered it with small bites of mushrooms, seaweed and pears, with gentle flavors of nutmeg and maca.macadamia. It really warmed my soul on a day that I needed it! The panini is on a foccacia style sour dough house baked, flavorful a crispy. Highly recommended can't wait to come back.“
