“The owner is amazing. You can tell he puts love into everything. I had the açai bowl which is a gigantic portion with a lot of delicious toppings, especially heavy on the granola, allowing for crunch in every bite.

There are a few tables outside, which are lovely to enjoy your tasty treat.

If you’re in the area on April 25, they’re having a grand opening with the mariachi I highly recommend.“

“My husband and I stopped into this cafe and forgot how good it was. We had an egg breakfast and the bread was so delicious! The owner of the store said they make it in house with no preservatives or anything artificial. We had the chia seed oatmeal dish and a coffee smoothie. Everything made with care. The pace is slower because everything is made with care and to order. We all need to slow down and relax and enjoy something healthy to nourish our bodies. Fresh juices, lots of things on the menu. This place is a mom and pop place, not a franchise. We need to support our local businesses and this is one I highly recommend!“

“This location grows and produces some of the Central Coasts best vegetables. They are used at the World famous Chez Noir restaurant in Carmel-by-the-sea. When I was there, they were preparing for 3 events simultaneously. This location strikes me as very robust, and able to handle large groups of visitors with ease, yet not squelch the 'quaintness' of Carmel Valley.“

You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. Today we branched out to try their tortas and new burrito bowls. outstanding! Ask for some Oaxacan cheese on your burrito bowl! Okay, now the bakery... There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!“
