“One of the cutest little shops in PG with a fun atmosphere. The ladies behind the counter were super sweet and efficient. We enjoyed their table games while waiting for the food. The waffles are delicious! We tried a couple flavors and they were super tasty. The shakes were more disappointing but not terrible. Not sure if it was just the two we ordered but there really wasn't any flavor. We will be back for the waffles but will skip on the shakes.“
“The food here is really great and the menu is huge! There are many foods that are rarely found as vegan options, so it's a lot of fun for a vegan to try them. Service is friendly and fast food is made to order. The empanaditos are also very good, and the desserts are also very delicious. This restaurant is centrally located and can be busy at times. If the parking lot is full, there is usually free street parking just a block or two away.Vegetarian options: Restaurant is completely vegan“
“Fairly quick service considering the line on a weekday morning. Great desserts and coffee! Super cute place, on the smaller side. On the pricier side.Vegetarian options: All drinks are vegetarian, can be vegan with milk substitutes. Pastries also all vegetarian, just some food options with meat.Parking: 2 hours street parking on the street, paid parking lot next to it too.“
“A good selection of smoothies, which are well sized. Employees were friendly. Juices are not pressed to order but are rather pre-bottled. Not a huge problem but if ordering online, you should be aware. Also that means you can’t make any substitutions.“
“This place is beautiful, and it was tulip season when we went, so you could pick your own tulips. They have different garden sections, including a children's garden with a swing set and a giant wooden chair. There's also a deli like cafe where you can easily grab a bite. I came here with my dad and my 10-year-old. This place is great for all ages - for the whole family, a date, or just a solo self care day.“
“Wow, what a delicious, healthy lunch I had today from Terra Superfoods. I ordered a Cypress grain bowl and it was literally perfection. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Greens, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, red onion, olives, cucumbers, mint and perfectly cooked quinoa with a zesty lime dressing, vegan tzatziki and hummus. Yummy yummy. The hummus was fantastic, smooth and flavorful. I also appreciate that all the sauces/dressing were in separate containers on the side.I actually felt healthier just by eating this meal. I ? recommend giving this local business a try. I'll have to check out some of the other things they have to offer. 10/10Vegetarian options: Vegan from what I can tell. Nothing sneaky ?“
“The sweet pans are delicious and a must try, when we got there, they were all freshly baked! Only complaint I have is the tamales, they were not cooked properly, thus they were dry, and I believe the corn husks that wrap around the tamale were not washed before steaming so the taste of dry dusty husk was strong within the tamale.Parking: Parking was fairly easy to find.“
“Has been my go to & favorite location for years. What makes a difference to me is the customer service and welcoming from Josiah, Amber, Kaitlin! They are Very hardworking, dedicated, friendly employees.Consistently making great smoothies. All my orders have been 100% correct & always super quick and with a smile. Thank you!“
“Really nice staff & the food was surprisingly very tasty. It looks unassuming at first & just stumbled upon the place on accident for a quick bite before heading up to the Bay. Don’t think I’ll ever be back in the area but if I did would stop here again for the meatloaf & chicken cobb salad.“
“Ok, I don't know what's going on with the reviews of this place. They are all over the map. If I had read them before coming here I would have passed on this place and I'm glad we didn't! The food was AMAZING. My husband and I normally have to drive to San Jose for Ramen, but not anymore! We got the edamame with spicy garlic as an appetizer and they were definitely finger licking good. I don't even like edamame lol, and I ate those. For dinner we ordered the shrimp killer roll and the hi roll. Both were super good. We also both got Ramen. I got the garlic sesame and my husband got the miso. It was all fantastic. We are Ramen snobs, and we were both exceptionally happy with our meals. We will definitely be going back there. The staff was also super friendly, and the food came out really quick! I say give this place a chance. Can't wait to go again!“
“Took a quick trip to Monterey this weekend, and I'm glad I got to try Captain + Stoker. I'm ashamed to admit, but I think I've become a coffee snob over the years. The flavor has to be just right -- not too bitter, dark, or acidic.I gravitate towards toasty flavor profiles, and the latte I had at C+S perfectly hit the spot. This is their smaller location (without seating), and we'll be checking out their larger one later today before we head out of Monterey! (Need to get it at least one more time before I leave)“
