“The woman who manages the restaurant is a very hard worker and kind, it's obvious she's dedicated to the job. The dining area and restrooms
are always very clean there's a older gentleman who does a wonderful job keeping the place clean. Even when this restaurant gets very busy between the drive thru, curbside pickup and dine in customers they are able to complete orders in a reasonable amount of time and very seldom do they make mistakes on orders. Which I greatly appreciate because my order is pretty specific and I'm on a limited amount time during my lunch break. Anyone passing through the area and trying to decide whether to stop at the Arcata or McKinleyville location. I highly recommend stopping by this one to grab a bite to eat while driving through the area

“Great place! I visited the area to see the Redwood State Park and dined at this restaurant 3 different times. I was traveling with my brother who has celiac disease, and the food here NEVER aggravated his digestion. Great place, great food, and great people behind the counter.“

“APD has probably the best pizza in the Arcata/Eureka area, but check your pizza. I come and get a pizza here probably twice a month. I always order the same thing, half just cheese, half pepperoni and jalapeño, and more than half the time it comes out half pepperoni, half jalapeño. Then I have to wait for them to remake it. Not sure why that happens so often. But great pizza. Just be sure to check it.“

“Food is always top quality, everyone who works there is very polite & I always enjoy coming to Carl’s.
Vegetarian options: Just thinking about the Beyond Famous Star burger makes my mouth water, I can’t get enough of it.I do wish there was more burgers for vegetarians, but the Beyond Famous Star is literally so delicious, I couldn’t ask for a better vegetarian burger.“

“Food is always consistently good. Not great., and I I wish they had updated and upgraded the food options as much as they did the decor. Love the real moss posts. It all works to create a unique look. Great ambiance, excellent service, and good food make this one of my frequent go tos.“
