“If people were more respectful to the staff, they'd likely not encounter errors. The only times I've ever had "poor" service is when they're overwhelmed. Anyone who's done service work knows service is an equal transaction between customer and employee. The staff here is much better than a majority elsewhere. Everyone's just trying to get by; we'll all keep trying to be better people.“

“We were on our way to Eureka, visiting from southern California and decided rather last minute to exit the 101 to find some lunch. Drove past DJ's Burger Bar and figured why not. WOW - Did we ever luck out! The burgers and fries were soooo good! Wonderful service and perfect cozy burger-stop vibes. WE have bookmarked this spot for our next roadtrip to the redwoods as a must stop!“

“Waiter was excellent and somehow guessed what I wanted for dessert. Food was quite good. The prime rib was bland, but at least not overwhelmed by the seasoning that some restaurants use. I've only had better recently at one other restaurant, in Sonoma County. Priced nicely.“
