“The woman who manages the restaurant is a very hard worker and kind, it's obvious she's dedicated to the job. The dining area and restroomsare always very clean there's a older gentleman who does a wonderful job keeping the place clean. Even when this restaurant gets very busy between the drive thru, curbside pickup and dine in customers they are able to complete orders in a reasonable amount of time and very seldom do they make mistakes on orders. Which I greatly appreciate because my order is pretty specific and I'm on a limited amount time during my lunch break. Anyone passing through the area and trying to decide whether to stop at the Arcata or McKinleyville location. “I enjoyed my meal at Kebab Cafe. The food tasted good. My large falafel sandwich left me full and had a great combination of flavors and textures with each bite. I wish there was a tahini sauce option, but the red pepper sauce is tasty in its own right.“

“Cool spot sight down by the pier where the catch comes in. We arrived at a really busy time and the staff was super nice. There is a little beach cove where we could entertain the kids while we waited. Food was good and service was very fast.“

“We loved this place so much we went here twice during our stay in Trinidad. I had the mashed potato waffle cone and the crab melt. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the potato. What a great idea! Hubs ate the burger and crispy chicken sandwich and gave a 10/10 for the chicken. Truly amazing food, nice restaurant with heaters (we needed them after kayaking in April!) and cool art on the ceiling and walls, and delicious local beer. Would love to come back again, sad that we live on the other side of the US and getting to Trinidad is quite a trek for us. Glad we made it out and got a chance to eat here and support the locals a bit.“

“This restaurant was another surprise. I was going to go with a burger to play it safe, but I decided instead to really see how good the restaurant was. One of my favorite dishes is Chicken Fried Steak. In my opinion most places that serve it do a poor job. To my surprise, they did a great job! I ate all of it. At first I was not crazy about the Zucchini and carrot veggie dish, but when I tasted the carrots they tasted like beef. I ate all the carrots. The layout of the restaurant is comfortable and the service was also great while we were there.“

“I've been eating here for 30 years and never had a bad meal. That's saying a lot since I'm a vegetarian eating at a burger joint. Only once last week have they ever accidentally given me a meat burger and they replaced it all super friendly and I ended up keeping the meat burger which I gave to a coworker to their total delight. You can even order the Mediterranean chicken salad vegetarian and it's so darn good. I love the Lichenstein prints and the hot tattooed bears that cook the food.It's hard to find good help in Humboldt but they always manage to have friendly, happy service that makes eating out worth it. I love Eureka and Arcata locations. Long live Stars!“

“A favorite go-to dinner spot when I hang out in Arcata. Central location and open late--nice option if you get peckish after dinner hours. Staff are friendly and you get your drink and food fast. Food should fit most diets and moods: a wide range of healthy, veggie, pesco, but also over to lots of pizza, meat, and grease. If you like seafood, I'd particularly recommend the chimichurri fish sandwich and tuna melt. Small but very tasty beer selection. I thought prices were very reasonable. A laid back sit-down area but chill and comfortable. Highly recommended.“
