“One of the few (only?) places in McKinleyville that offers a large assortment of baked goods and pastries alongside excellent coffee. There are usually a few savory sandwiches offered as well.

We were particularly impressed by the fact that the iced coffee includes coffee ice cubes, yay!

Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Because of the open plan layout within a small space, the location is fine for a quick bite and chat, but not particularly atmospheric for a longer hangout.“

“Stopped by for some morning coffee and matcha with a relatively big group. The workers were sweet and efficient. Although we had a lot of drinks ordered, they were pretty quick with making them. Coffee was solid, they also were able to make it with honey which was a major plus. Also tried their matcha with honey which was alright as well. The place itself was spacious and welcoming to be in. Parking was easy to find. Definitely will be back if ever in the area!“

“My husband and I visited Jitter Bean Coffee Co at the end of August. We're actually from Van Buren, AR! He was adamant about visiting this local coffee chain. We both ordered an iced white mocha! I thought that it was good. The inside of the building was clean and had a little seating space. It had big windows with a great view Arcata Square. If I was a student at the local university, I would consider studying there! I thought that the staff were friendly and that they finished our order promptly. I think it is a great place to get an afternoon ice coffee - - - that is what we did!“

“Nice cafe in the library, they have an array of food during the day and drinks. They have a nice tea selection and pretty good hours. I wish they were open later, but the market place isn't far if you need food/drink after 8 so its not that bad.“

“went to Los bagels for the first time a week ago as we were making our way through the PNW. Their bagles are so good and the berry scones.... yes please. no matter how busy the line had gotten the whole staff showed grace and diligence in their work and the own should be proud to have hired such a great group. hope to make my way soon in october“

I enjoyed a golden milk with a shot that was rich, warming, and perfectly spiced—one of the best dairy-free options I’ve had. I also tried their vegetarian breakfast burrito, which was basically a brilliant omelette rolled up in a tortilla—an omelette on the go! It was satisfying, fresh, and perfect for a quick, hearty breakfast. The cornmeal scone was tasty and moist, though I did notice it’s not made in-house since I’ve seen the same one at other local cafés. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy your order. The staff are friendly, quick, and make you feel right at home.
