The place exudes a cozy atmosphere and offers a delightful dining experience. The menu presents a variety of fresh, locally sourced dishes, including seafoods and vegetarian options, and delicious desserts. The staff were very friendly anf attentive, making sure that every guest feel very welcome. The cafe is a great choice if you're looking for a place for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner.

Wonderful atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. I've been driving for hours and hadn't eaten since breakfast. Had dinner here and the host had a big smile and was friendly to help. It really made my first visit a great one.

We would visit Mendocino every summer and the cafe was an obligatory stop. The food and service was so good. The chocolate mousse (which they don't always have) is sooo good.
We gave this cafe a second chance and were disappointed once again!
Our special $39 dish surprised us with gray color /most likely long time frozen/ clams and not fully cooked /very hard aldente/ pasta with runny, grey sour sauce.
Caesar salad was just O.K. Dressing tasted like cheap fatty mayonnaise from the local market.
This cafe has fine dining prices, but food is quite simple and not really exciting or good quality. We spend $85 for salad, entree: "evening speshisl dish"and small desert and were very unhappy about our food.
Ambience is okay, service was good! Suggestion to the owner: hier a new chef or low your prices.
We stayed two nights in Mendocino and walked to this lovely cafe. It had a cute outdoor seating area.
The food was based on a fusion style, so I missed the actual spice. But again, when you're traveling, that's the best you can do and have.
Service was very friendly and kind.

Nice outdoor seating area. Everything we had was good but could have used more flavor. For example, the Thai peanut burrito recommended by the waiter was pretty light on peanut sauce.

We loved our brunch at Mendocino Cafe!
The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. The outside dining is under a large tent like structure, and you’re surrounded by lush, vibrant plants in a gather like setting.
We will definitely be back.
