“It was my first time and not was delightful. The service was extra special. I heard of the business when his son lost his life in the line of duty. God rest his soul. Everything I was told was true. Mr. Calhoun took our order and we chatted with him while the food was being prepared. Such a lovely business. I wish there were more locations or you could get it online. ??⭐️??

“I was looking for a Thai restaurant and stumbled across this gem. When I say the food is always fresh and good, I really mean it. I order from here at least once a week. Family owned, super clean, great atmosphere and phenomenal customer service. Prices are reasonable for all the dishes and sides.“

“I had placed an order on DoorDash, the driver had forgot my sides. I called down and spoke to Julian: I was a little short on the phone, but he was pleasant the entire time. Got to the store, apologized and had a conversation with them. They were wonderful people, and I cannot wait to go back. Jalapeño kielbasa is AMAZING“

“I ordered the chicken Teriyaki and shrimp. I was surprised to see the rice all under the chicken smothered in sauce. That kind of ruined it for me because i dont like a ton of sauce on the rice. The portion size for the price is much smaller than other Hawaiian BBQ places. The chicken and shrimp was pretty good. No veggies as I thought the chicken would have been over a bed of cabbage or veggies. Rice soggy with sauce and the Mac was good.“
“Pete was so amazing to work with. We met for a tasting and everything was delicious. It was so hard to choose because we wanted it all! He was so kind and really made us feel cared for. The day of our wedding, everything was just as amazing. His staff was great and they got everyone fed quickly. People couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. We highly recommend Pete and his amazing BBQ!“

“Me and my family had a wonderful experience eating here at Big Island the lady who took our order was super attentive and she was by herself customer service was her ultimate goal and she maximized our experience with every second she had. The food was great and the portion size is plenty for the money. I will definitely be returning.“
