“This is my new favorite spot for sushi in Menifee! Clean atmosphere, amazing service, and the food was delicious! They stopped at our table several times to make sure we didn't need anything. They saw us eating the ginger and were quick to bring us more, without even being asked! And the food was DELICIOUS! Hot spring rolls, and everything was super fresh!“

“From the moment I walked in, the gentleman who assisted me was both courteous and patient. I don’t order this type of food very often, but I found it frequently more and more delicious. This place did not disappoint me! All that’s left, is for me to come back again and again.
And they make boba!!!! ? pow ?
The boba was great!
They were a little busy but handled my order pretty quickly.
Overall. This place, as they say, slaps!“

“Fresh raw oysters. Sashimi was delicious. Nice portion“
“This was my second time dinning in here at AZA and they did not disappoint both times. This time I ordered the spicy garlic edamame to start with, then the Tonkatsu spicy Ramen, along with a Philadelphia roll, and a spicy tuna roll. My favorite had to be the spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. To finish off with dessert. Was the deep fried green Tee ice cream. Typically I’m not a big fan of green tea ice cream, but this one was very creamy and delicious. The servers were very nice. Everyone had big Smile when we arrive. One of the appetizers was complementary as well as the dessert, and they were very grateful as we were walking out the door as well. Highly recommend this sushi place for a date night for anyone.“

“Great food, customer service, etc., but please make sure to include all condiments, into the To-Go orders. There's a special sauce, with the fried food and the taste is AMAZING, but it was not included, this time. I even left a tip, on the To-Go order, so was a bit disappointed.“

“This place is really good! They have all kinds of food, not just sushi but also chicken teriyaki and Japanese ramen. The sushi tastes super fresh and the ramen is really flavorful. Place feels chill and nice to hang out with friends. Great spot to eat and try different Japanese dishes!“

“Took both my kids here. My 11 year old son is not a fan of sushi partly because mom gets him the Starter brothers brand. I told him to have an open mind and so I ordered him the crunchy rolls. At first he was hesitant but once he took the first bite his eyes lid up and he tore through his dish like there was no tomorrow. We got the Mexican, Philly cheese, salmon and crunchy rolls and all were amazing!!“

“Beautiful presentations and super delicious dishes such as awesome sushi combination plates, a huge sushi salad with more fish varieties than veggies 🥗 🍣 🍱 and a special birthday surprise which is my new favorite birthday cake with mouth watering green apple covered with caramels and chocolate and nuts all sliced up into thin pieces forming a caterpillar 🐛 topped with whipped cream and cherries 🍒 !“

“Excellent service great food“
“Food is good. Favorite chef Iggy is great. HOWEVER... I had a very bizarre experience eating there last night... I came in about 5:30 and ordered my food - all you can eat from a sushi list menu. Everything good so far. Two other people came in separately sat in the chairs next to me. They ordered their food and ate. We talked for about an hour. The server brought me a bill which included all three tabs. I told the cashier that I had ordered individually and expected to pay for my own meal as I always do and not for the other two. The woman, who said she was the manager, told me that I could not pay individually as it was their policy not to split tabs on three or more people who were apparently together on more than two credit cards. WHAT? I have eaten there many times before, talked to others near me. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. There were no signs on the wall indicating that if you ate next to other people and collectively tried to pay with more than two credit cards, they would not allow you to do that. The others said they would pay their tabs on a single card. I was off the hook. As far as the manager/server goes, what kind of an intellectual genius would make up and try to "enforce" a policy like that? I've eaten there on and off for years. Make no mistake. I'm never eating there again.“

“Had a great experience here with my family. The food was fantastic so was the service and atmosphere. They have a happy hour buy one get one free of certain alcoholic beverages. The sushi was great and fresh, I love a sushi bar where you can see them preparing the sushi right in front of you. And the garlic edamame was one of the best Ive had in a while, definitely coming back here 10/10 highly recommend“

“Went to dinner with my family and a friend that swore this is the best sushi around. They have been once a week for the past few months and we knew we had to try it. The all you can eat is $40 per person, or you can simply order off the menu any item you want. They have a variety of appetizers, entrees, and sushi rolls. Definitely had something for everyone. Thier selection was also nice! They were able to accommodate our large party without reservations or notice. The staff was very polite and attentive. The sushi was amazing! My teenage son has never been a sushi fan and really enjoyed their 911 roll. I had the Jalapeño bomb and they were amazing. My husband and his friend got the hummingbird, red dragon, crunch, and tempura roll. They were all so good! We also enjoyed the gyoza as an appetizer. Will definitely be coming here again.“

“First and foremost, this is a hole in the wall sushi spot in Murrieta, CA. It’s not omakasein NYC. With that being said, what a great little spot to have here in the IE.
The food
- calamari tempura 8.5/10: great, seemingly home battered calamari served with spicy mayo
- chicken fried rice 6/10: mids
- large 20 pc Chef Sushi 9/10: once again, it’s not NYC omakase, but it was delicious! Especially enjoyed the uni and jalepeno relish!
Service / Atmosphere
- 10/10 across the board. Small little chefs bar seating, maybe 6 tables.
- the lady who runs the shop is an absolute electric factory. Bumping music, playing college football on the TV, handing out sake shots. She is an absolute beauty and totally made the service/atmosphere over the top great.“

“First time going there for lunch with my husband was very lovely! They had paper menus and many good options. We ordered 3 rolls, chicken cutlets box, and 2 drinks and they offered us a choice between free gyoza or roll. They had a comfortable spacious sitting area and a little TV on the wall. The cashier/ hostess was super kind and patient and she even took our movie suggestion to put on which of course wasn't mandatory but was a sweet gesture that made the meal more enjoyable for us. Mid way through the meal the chef sent out some gyoza to our table and a separate table it was another unexpected kind gesture. The food was great we definitely had left overs and the service was top tier and the atmosphere was overall very chill with a good flow of customers. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend :)“

“I think the food is ok, over priced for dinner. 200.00 for three people. Yikes, they use breast of chicken which can get hard after grilling, the beef is ok, but not tender. The only that was good was the veggies“

“I’m always skeptical of poke places as they need to be very clean for me to feel
Comfortable eating there. Upon walking in the store smelt fresh and the counters and tables were clean. They have two sizes, a small bowl or a larger option. We got the larger option for $17 and some change. The portion sizes were very big. They give you lots of rice and or salad- I got half and half. You get 3 protein choices. The tuna chunks tasted very fresh. I also got albacore with corn, edamame beans, cucumber and crunchy topics. My finance got all rice with crab and spicy tuna and some fruits and veggies on top. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back! Even though it’s a lot of food it’s fresh and healthy so definitely a good option.“

“I’m out town but it’s under new ownership and no longer called Costa Brava. The place is called Sapporo Mex Sushi! Slowly getting fixed up. They sell a lot more other food than just sushi. They also have breakfast, Mexican food and Mariscos! I tried their sushi n a stuffed jalapeño.. The food is fckn delicious! To die for. Everything had so much flavor!!! 🔥💣🤤 I have no idea what I tried as I let the sushi chef decide on my plates! The place does looked closed when there’s no car out on the parking but trust believe it’s not!!! It’s most definitely a place you want to stop by and eat if you’re around the area!“

“I went to this place last year and I was not impressed at all. Maybe they changed the chef or used different recipe or something, I went there again recently and the food was amazing. I had the BBQ plate, the curry, the katsudon, the seafood ramen, and the tonkatsu ramen. All those that I ordered were great. So I will definitely go back again. The wait staff could be a bit more attentive. It took me over 5 minutes to get their attention so that I could pay. They never even looked at me! Anyway, the food is great.“
