“By far my favorite place to eat on campus, if not in all of Palo Alto. For how affordable it is, the quantity and quality of food you get is unparalleled. My favorite items are the chicken burrito bowl, the Aztec salad, and the pastrami banh mi, all of which are between $11 and $12 after tax. Oftentimes, one burrito bowl will last me lunch and dinner. The staff is great and incredibly efficient. When you order a burrito bowl, you will literally get it 20 seconds later.
Vegetarian options: You can customize any menu item to be vegetarian“

“I'm so glad we made it in for happy hour! Bar snacks and specialty cocktails all 50% off! What a steal! We shared the Grilled Octopus, Tostones with a delicious Mojo Verde Sauce, and the beef Tallow French fries. They have a beautiful courtyard where we enjoyed the Whiskey Ginger Cove and Sweet & Smokey cocktail. Cocktails and food were full of flavor and perfect for the evening. Thank you to the bartender for the recommendations! We decided to stay for dinner and their 28 Day Dry Aged Ribeye did not disappoint! Highly recommend if you decide to dine here! My date had the Cabaña burger with French fries. Both cooked perfectly medium rare. Will definitely be back!“

“The atmosphere of the place (see pictures) carries more than it ought to a hotel bistro off El Camino. I ordered the French Onion soup with a side of asparagus and my partner got a bistro burger with a salad. The salad has a mint sauce that is good but there wasn't enough of it. They ended up stealing some of the extra hollandaise from my asparagus plate. The soup was great. Nothing too fancy but sometimes that's all you need. It works well for what they're going for I think. The worst of it is their servicing. They use a clunky app which doesn't even have all of their menu items and we had to pay in two separate ways. A server at the counter told us he'd take our order at one of the tables and then was never seen again. Just staff your restaurant or put it all on the app. Don't go halfsies.
Dietary restrictions: They have soy milk“
“The location was interesting. It was not easy to get into all the time. Most of the time, we had to do a u-turn to get into the driveway. Convenience wise, the location was great. There was a Starbucks and food within walking distance. Costco was across the street. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The only strange thing about the room was the placement of the television relative to the bed. Most hotels have the television at the foot of the bed. The television was placed on the side of the bed. The layout of the furniture lent itself to the spacious feel of the room, though. I love hotels where the sink is outside the bathroom. You can get ready for bed or going out while someone is either taking a shower or using the toilet. The only issue I had was the toilet paper holder. Because it was loose, the toilet paper kept on falling when we tried to put any pressure on the roll. The staff was polite and helpful. We were given a parking permit, but there is no parking fee. There was plenty of parking. We were able to park close to our room, which is unusual. I would definitely stay here agin.“

“Vida in Menlo Park has become my go-to spot for both personal dining and when I have guests in town. I've been there several times, and every visit has been consistently fantastic. The food is incredible—I've tried many different dishes, and they never disappoint. The portions are generous, especially the desserts, which are perfect for sharing. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even better. If you're in the area, Vida is a must-visit for a memorable meal!“
