First time here, I think they can do better, half the food was cold, which is a little disappointing when it's a burger, and even more disappointing when it's cold fries.The garlic fried had waaaay too much garlic mush which kinda made them bitter. With that being said, the sandwich was really good, and the soups were delicious.Maybe 5 starts next time.
Very friendly and efficient staff. We were a group of 5 and they pushed 2 tables together and seated us immediately. They were over half full at the end of the lunch rush (2pm).3 of the 5 of us got Rubin Sandwiches as the Rubin reputation demanded we try it out. It did not disappoint. The texture and flavor of this Rubin were the best I have ever experienced.Notably, the food was prepared and brought to us very quickly. This may just have been because of our after rush timing...
Used to really enjoy coming here, and to the location in San Carlos. Not so much anymore, the sandwiches got really thin. I order a half sandwich because a full one used to be too much food but the half sandwich I had on Saturday was a single layer of pastrami and it wasn't even sliced nicely. Barely any sauerkraut. The gooey fries are also in a smaller portion size. The cobb salad had a TON of romaine lettuce, not much of anything else. Barely a handful of pastrami.Higher...
