“Plenty of TVs! Changed to my relatively obscure game (UVA v Northwestern on CBS Sports Network) upon request - even turned on the sound. Solid beer selection on draft. Several other games featured for other patrons. About half full on a Friday afternoon, with several friendly conversations adding to a nice vibe.“

“Great old place. I just came back from San Francisco where Yancy's is located and walking in felt like coming home. This was the place I turned 21 and now 43 years later find myself standing at the bar. Yes, it looks a little worn like a favorite old sweater and totally comfortable. The only thing missing was the Pac Man machine in the back by the big screen. I love this part of San Francisco. A nice selection of restaurants little shops and just character and charm.

“Oakland Staple, everything is done fairly well, one block away from Pixar studios. This is what the standard should be in my opinion, (yes I said opinion if you know me I work with facts so this is big) why because they deliver exactly what they advertise so you are not misguided or get false hopes followed by disappointment, overall quite happy after eating here. “Love Foghorn on Balboa! It's my husband and I's favorite spot to go to after work to grab beer and a bite to eat. The craft beer list always has great options and if you're a chicken fan, this place is for you. Their chicken sandwich, wings and tenders are so delicious! They also have Nashville options if you're looking for some heat. The atmosphere is awesome, it's a casual, laid back spot thats good for groups, bringing kids, and/or just grabbing a cold one with a buddy!“

Nice place to meet locals and make new friends. The bar has been there for a while. Nice place to watch sports. Food is not served here. But Nick kindly gave suggestions for local places to visit! You need to drop in!“

“This place is not what I was expecting. Chug Pub has got awesome 49ers memorabilia on the walls, as a 9ers fan I can really appreciate this. This would be a great bar to go and watch 49ers games at. The bartender was super friendly he bought a round of tequila and there were three of us. Not sure why he did this but it worked because we came back later and drank some more! The food is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had and I am not exaggerating. We ordered the nachos with tinga, if you dont know what tinga is its mexican bbq and it is a must try. The chips in the nachos were some the best I have ever had, I love my chips on the well done side almost burnt and thats how these chips came. I loved it! When we came back later I ordered a California burrito and it was hands down the best California burrito I have ever had. I live an hour away and I plan on going back on a Sunday to have some drinks, eat amazing Mexican food and watch some 49er games. The bathrooms arent the best but everything else makes up for it.“

“Found out my great grand father owned this bar 70 years ago and came in here early this afternoon and I'm so amazed how amazing the staff and customer were to me and telling me stories about the bar was an amazing experience for my 1st time. Ever I love this bar“

“A football hideaway tucked into the financial district, excellent spot to catch the games, including Redzone on a huge screen, plus wifi and plugs (outlets), cool bartenders (Daniel on Sunday), shuffleboard, full range of beers and spirits, and a private reservable parlor room...hard to go wrong here on a Sunday (& was great and lively for Game 7 of World Series on Saturday night as well, cool and interesting folks).“

“Amazing place and people!!!! The manager, Candice, is so sweet and helpful! We got married at Deer Park Villa nearby and chose to have our after-party at Nave's after looking into multiple bars in the area. Nave's stood out to us over the others because of the friendly, casual, laid-back, and fun vibes! Candice made it so easy for us, helped us coordinate with Ghiringhelli's Pizzeria in town to have late night food there and ready for us when we arrived, and even let us bring our DJ and allowed him to set up his equipment and continue to play for all of our guests. We cannot thank her or Nave's enough for this! They even let us come back and do it all over again the next night! Some of our best wedding memories were made here this weekend. All of the staff and other customers were so friendly and welcoming to us! We definitely recommend Nave's for a wedding after-party or event! “Never had the original Irish coffee and just saw they have it while walking at 1pm. We got in and were greeted by a very friendly bartender.

Their Irish coffee was really strong and it was not my favorite but it was a great experience and was nice to try it. Would love to come back here for some drinks next time especially that they don’t skimp on the alcohol. 😉“

“San Francisco Brewing Co. was a great experience and a really solid place to spend some time.

We worked through a good variety of beers, and everything was well done. The Nitro Imperial Stout (Basil Hayden addition, vintage 2021) stood out for how smooth and balanced it was. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Imperial Stout 2026 was rich without being too heavy.

The Farmhouse Flexing Dark Saison was easy to drink with a nice bit of complexity, and the Fog City Hazy IPA delivered a clean, juicy profile that you expect from the style. Willy Wonka’s Wildberry Blast was a fun change of pace and worth trying.

What really made the visit, though, was the staff. The bartenders were excellent. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely engaged. They made it easy to explore different options and added a lot to the overall experience.

Definitely a spot worth checking out. We’ll be back.“
