Great food and service. Everyone in our three generation group, including several natives of Japan and two pre-teens who are notoriously picky, raved about the food, including the rolls, sashimi, and truly spectacular agedashi tofu. Service-wise, although we were the only customers eating outside, we received frequent attention from the waitstaff, who were very accommodating. Highly recommend.
Love Zen. The fish is always fresh and updated menu from time to time. The specials or daily's are interesting as always to try and the staff is always so attentive. My favorite sushi place by far on the peninsula and I'll always keep going back! Friends from Southern California love visiting and going here too. It's some of the best around. So thrilled this is in the neighborhood. I didn't do much sushi over covid but have recently been advised sushi works as takeout! I still like to have it there but the secret tofu and generous portions and perfect friendly and helpful service will keep me coming back.
