The classic grilled fish in Liu's secret flavor is very delicious, with a balance of numbing pepper flavor, sweetness, and sourness. The beef and lamb skewers are quite tasty too, with good seasonings that don't overwhelm the natural flavor of the meat. The oxtongue fish was mala spicy. The skewers were a generous portion, and the cucumber salad was so garlicky and yummy. The plum juice made the meal so satisfying and left us refreshed.
The place is well-organized and looks great, with a scan menu and the option to order from your phone. The food is actually really good and reasonably priced, with standout dishes like the chicken skin, fried rice, and egg soup. The service is decent, fast and efficient, with food brought out relatively quickly, and any dish that takes a little longer is well worth the wait. We were well taken care of by all the staff and we were warmly welcomed. This restaurant has amazing food, people, and overall vibe. The entire fish is served in a large flat pan, soaked in spicy peppers and veggies and carbs of your choice. It’s a bit heavy for lunch, but definitely a good choice for group dinners. There is a large free parking lot.
