What makes an excellent pizza? A great foundation: dough, sauce, and cheese. Coastline nails all three. The crust is sourdough, perfectly chewy with real character. The tomato sauce is zesty without being too salty. And it’s all topped with cheese that melts beautifully across every slice. If you want a great pizza, this is probably the best in the area.
We started with the coastal chopped salad, which was the perfect opener and a great preview of the pizza to come.
The service is top notch and everyone is genuinely friendly. At one point I was waiting at the bar for a beer that was actively being poured, and a staff member still came over to check if I needed help. A great touch that says a lot about how they run the place. Even better for beer fans: all their drafts come in schooner size.
Bottom line: if you like pizza and beer, this place is a must-visit. Coastline Pizza is our new default for pizza night.

Always on the hunt for the best slice of pizza in OC, I stumbled onto Coastline from a TikTok. DoorDashed it last weekend and am very happy to report that it was sublime. Both the Detroit and the standard vodka I ordered were awesome. Will absolutely be ordering again!

MAMA Miaaaa! OMG TBH so Frickin’ delicious! We tried half a bonfire and half a vegetarian pizza ($26) and it was made by these young kids while the Rolling Stones and The Who and the Doors were playing and I loved the vibe —and I told them so —but I took one look at the Pizza and I knew this would be one of my all-time favorites! Just from the SMELL alone, and the kid was so proud, about 3-4 in the afternoon on Cinco de Mayo. Yummm

This pizza place is a hidden gem! The crust is perfect, and they really load up the toppings. Can't get enough of their margherita pizza—seriously, it's my new favorite!
Coastline has quickly become my favorite pizza in socal. I’ve been to most of the noteworthy pizza place around and have nothing but praise for Coastline since stumbling into it. I’ve had two pizzas this week already and I’m drooling thinking about more 🤤

Not many places left you go to eat dinner and the owner and his family are sitting dining too. Nothing is shorted here, fresh ingredients, good atmosphere, and on Wednesday they have special pizzas and beer/wine half off. Tbe value is insane if you are looking for a date night. I highly recommend , went in for the Wednesday special and will become a regular

Ordered pizza and garlic knots a couple weeks ago based on all the hype. Loved the pizza crust, and the pizza overall was pretty good. The garlic knots were bland and nothing to write home about. Went during the middle of the day so it was empty, but it looks like it would be busy after kids sports activities and was cute. Staff was great.

FINALLY a great place in Mission Viejo for pizza. Other places are very mediocre. I’ve been waiting for a place like this. It’s all about the pizza. Me and my wife had the Detroit style pizza, it was absolutely delicious and I’ve been to Detroit multiple times. It competes with the real deal. The bonfire pizza, is probably the best pizza in Orange County. The owner came around and checked in on us, this guy knows what he’s doing. We’ll be going back, to try every pizza on this beautiful menu. Thank you Coastline, we’re rooting for you!

Absolutely a 10/10. Great service and the best pizza around. We have been across the globe and this definitely ranks in the top 3. Best local pizza spot guaranteed!!
