The avocado toast is consistently excellent and the coffee is surprisingly good. If you are expecting Foldger's, this ain't it. Every time I've been it's been a nice, light and fruity/floral cup. It's probably the best cup in Modesto if you aren't into the motor oil that still seems to be the top choice elsewhere in the Central Valley.
My mom and I stopped in for an early morning caffeine fix before hitting the road. I enjoyed a cappuccino and my mom got the lumberjack latte. We both enjoyed our beverages, especially since the lumberjack wasn't sickly sweet and had nice amounts of flavor. Since we went early in the morning on a weekday, we were able to get street parking right across the street and were in and out within 5 minutes.

My spot for awesome lattes! Reminds of my old coffee shop back home in Texas. Welcoming, awesome staff, and most of all the espresso is fire. Once a night club turned church/coffee shop. Love H&S!
