I went to dinner with my parents and Normally we love Black Bear Diner. We were Iooking for comfort food and we were very disappointed. It came out cold, I mean super cold in the middle. Obvious that none of it was made there, just heated up in the microwave. Oh, I take that back. My Dad had fish and chips and he said that was good and cooked all the way through. That is where the one star was earned for the food. Service and atmosphere were good.

Black bear diner is a favorite of my family. We've always been there during the week and the service is fast and friendly. And the food has been great. But I tried the bottomless fish fry on Friday and it was just okay. The hushpuppies were dry and tasted like onion. The fish filets were huge and really good but the fries weren't crispy. Coleslaw was good. If you're hungry and want all you can eat fried fish, get it. Otherwise choose anything else for really good...

The food was good. They were a little shy on the fries. Put over all the taste was fine. We do eat there fairly often when coming into town. Really like the atmosphere except for there's a lot to choose from the menu what's the last two times we've been there The waitresses seemed very distracted and we had to keep asking for service for our drinks. There weren't that many people there but the food did take a little bit longer than normal last time we waited...
