The sandwiches are always good. But subway service has generally become terrible. I don't like going to Subway just to avoid the bad experience of their disastrous service. Almost always in the city of Modesto there are people of Indian nationality who are bad-tempered, ill-mannered and rude. And this store was no exception. I do not recommend any Subway or, failing that, it is better to order online. You will surely be better served and the food will be enjoyed more.

Thought I would try here again, but then yet, very overpriced for what I got and very skimpy on the meats. My cousins and I were "Dissatisfied" again. Guess I just stay with TOGOS.

I ordered online, on site started to show pick up at 6:45 pm,i went in there, just open the door and staff called me and then she said hey I was trying to call because we dont have baked herb and cheese bread she's telling me that around 6:50, I had only 30 minutes lunch, they wasted my time a lot, disappointed about that. They really need to let customers know write away after placing a order not like 20 minutes later. Or they really need to update on the site like that bread is unavailable or something like that

Apparently the online ordering system was down, it had no problem taking my money of course. When i showed up to the restaurant, the staff let me know that my order was not fufilled and would not be fulfilled despite them taking my money.

The lackluster customer service is what stood out the most to me. Here's the situation: My partner ordered combos on the app ahead of time. Our son and I came to pick it up, was it ready? NO! Then without taking a breath, they told me that our order is probably at the other Subway down the street. He said, "people mistake them all the time". I didn't really belive him, especially since I knew it was supposed to be at this location, next to Hart Floral. Thank God I didn't drive over there, because it was not there either! After talking with the other store on the phone, I came back inside this Subway and asked again if they had the order. No, they only had one mobile order for a different name. They were looking at me like I'm the crazy one. We left and went home sans sandwiches! I was already charged, and was not able to get what we ordered. My son was terribly upset and I was pissed! I tried calling several times, no answer. "They must be busy," the other store said. I came back with partner, he once again ordered on the app. Except this time, they miraculous received the order and started working on the sandwiches right away. Caveat: even though the app gave an error the 2nd time, NOT the 1st time! WTH?? (What the heck!)They claim they don't have anything to do with the app. They didn't apologize or acknowledge the fact that we had already been charged, and now had to pay twice!! They refused to give us the corporate phone number, because they "don't have access to it".The only thing the guy employee did from the time we got there, until the time we left was complain. Oh, except for when he was touting himself as becoming the next assistant manager. Dear Lord, I hope that doesn't happen!He continues bragging about being late only 2 times, and how he always works through his breaks. Even the customer he told this to was concerned that he was working through breaks! He complained about being tired and that he still had to work until closing time. Then, he asked the other employee if she would send him home. He did all of the complaining loud enough for anyone in the restaurant to hear verbatim. The restaurant was not clean at all! Plus, the soda machine was out of ice. The female employee said they didn't have any ice in the back. The employees should have cleaned a table or two while there was no one in line, but inside he was fiddling with the containers behind the counter, and she was out of sight in the back.I normally don't eat sandwiches at Subway, because of dietary restrictions to bread. However, I know how much my son likes it. So, I offered to pick it up on our way home as a nice treat for him. It turned out to be disastrous for me!Summary:-- Negative attitude/complaining-- NO ICE for soda-- Dirty restaurant -- Messed up ordering system-- Charged twice!!

Every time I go in there they always have a problem with washing there hands and when you ask them too one rolled her eyes at me or they give you attitude about it. Sorry you work in food service it should never be a problem to wash your hands. So I took my business somewhere else.

Does not have a bathroom for customers out of service. as well as no WIFI for the customers to use. I like one where I can use the bathroom and wifi.

Place is in need of an upgrade. Too much mayo and mustard I almost didn't eat it. My fault I did. My server made our food pretty quick. The other guy was working on making two footlongs before I got there and still working on them as I was already eating mine.

First and far most I'd like to say I like subway but today experience will deter me from go to this particular location so my son who's 14 went to the restroom and the female employee with the tattoos on her arm decided to bang on the restroom door telling my son to hurry up by this time first responders came and make redundant remarks saying YOU GUYS MAY WANT TO HELP HIM OUT THE BATHROOM witch made my son uncomfortable and made him feel humiliated

Same top quality as all Subway restaurants. Had a foot long Cold Cut, buy 1 get 2nd for half price. Did online order and was ready when I arrived. ?Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed.Parking: Parking was easy and free.

This Subway location is a staple for me because it is nearby my home, consistent, and they have coupons that make it a bargain. Two footlongs for $12.99 for example. Sometimes even two for the price of one! Service here is very good. Most of the employees are friendly. The restaurant has always been clean when I dined here. That is a huge plus.The biggest faults I can mention are the bread is not always fresh, and their APP doesn't let you order certain things such as a large drink for a combo. The APP can be a bit dodgy at times too.The food quality at Subway has greatly improved over the years, but the meats are by no means top notch. Good, not great. The same goes for the cheeses they serve. I am very disappointed they no longer have swiss cheese. It was one of the few cheeses they offered that tasted like cheese.If you are on a budget and have a coupon, you will be happy to come here.

This is by far the best subway in the area. This is also the furthest subway from where I live. I eat a ton of subway and always go out of my way to eat at this one when I am in the area because it's always clean, good service all around, and the orders taste fresh and are correct.
