My husband and I used to come here pretty frequently, but unfortunately stopped due to one of the waitresses wound up leaving. Once she left, the customer service went downhill quickly. We have been back several times and the experience is just not the same. It's not horrible, it's just ok.
There has been a Mexican restaurant at this location ever since I've been going to Modesto in 2008. This is my first time back since 2019 - is it the same place? I don't know, but it's definitely similar. Two things that were different - I used to love the chips here. This time they were really stale. Love this little taqueria for lunch. Sometimes I call in my order or if I have more time on my hands I just stop in. In the past I sat in with friends and coworkers.My usual to go item is a burrito with whole beans. Or nachos with everything Again with while beans. They pile on the jalapeños which I love. Most of the time I can't even finish the nachos but oh boy do I try! They are always friendly there and I go often.
