Despite what the signage says, this place is George's Gyros. When you walk in, George will be the one taking your order. After you order, he'll immediately turn around and start making everything fresh. Once you're served and satisfied, then he'll ring you up at the counter, but not before. I'm from LA, been here in Modesto for 5 years and I just love greek food i'm so happy I found this place delicious food, great prices and amazing customer service, George is an extraordinary chef. I was craving chicken kabob salad ? YUMMY DELICIOUS ? OH and the most DELICIOUS BLAKAVA (I hope I got it right) OH MY GOODNESS made with honey, pistachios and walnuts ??? Zanga also goes by George's Gyros, which had me driving around the block a few times trying to figure it out ? This restaurant is ran by one man. He takes your order, makes your food and usually rings you up after it is finished. Expect a little bit of a wait if you are strapped for time. I was in Modesto and looking for a good gyro, this place had one of the higher scores and most of the reviews were very positive.
