I first wanna say that this is a wonderful hotel and my partner, and I had a great time. However, the one thing I do want to say, and whether or not you believe in it is entirely up to you, but this hotel is extremely, extremely haunted. Never in my life have I’ve been in a place with so much paranormal activity. During the day, I certainly felt the presence in the bathroom and didn’t want to be alone, but I just kind of choked it up to being in a new place and didn’t think...
Since the newest owners took over the food has been great. So good to see good food back at the ledger. Bar had a great diverse selection of beers on tap. Staff was friendly. We had the ledger burger and fries, patty melt with garlic fries and fried pickles; all great!
After almost 2 years returned to the Leger for a date night with my wife.
Now, the new owners and the Management and Chef are what this town has needed to revive this treasure of a hotel and restaurant.
The chef is a culinary dreamer and achiever who seems to be on the path of culinary enlightenment at the Hotel. All courses were layered with a passion and love for food that the Leger has never seen before. I loved the old chefs but they were armature at best of home BBQ kings....
