“Got the strawberry sunshine summer special Yerba mate and a tomato and mozzarella empanada. Perfect pick me up in the morning. The mate was refreshing, delicious, and not too sweet (which you can’t say about the yellow cans you can buy around). The empanada was flaky and the cheese was delightfully melty, which a great Italian flavor palate. Service was great.“
“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Josephine’s Special Empanadas are delicious with a thin filling and meaty. Unlike other empanadas that are more veggies than meat inside.“

“You will never get a sub quite as lovely as these. I don’t know why they’re so good, maybe fresh bread and fresh ingredients IDK but Turkey extra chili is my fave!! Mom loves Milanesa and the fried sides are YUMM too! I learned how to make my voice heard at the old little market. The big construction men at lunch time would be shouting out their orders. I was 11 years old and had to shout my order too!! Been a patron since 1982!!“

“Great people and amazing service. If a conversation isn't happening while you're waiting, you are doing it wrong. Don Jose and his wife are lovely, hard-working people. The food we ordered, bandeja paisa and sobrebarriga, were flavorful with healthy servings. Everything reasonably priced. Strongly recommend. A taste of Colombia.“
