“I recommend this Ghost Kitchen Food. Wanted a Dominican Breakfast (smashed platanos with pickled onions, fried egg, cheese and salami). So for my Birthday I asked the family to go Dominican Food Hopping in LA. I chose 3 restaurants. This spot was our first stop and the best of all.“

“After our last experience trying to order food somewhere else, Nonna’s Empanadas completely saved the day.

My girlfriend and I ordered the beef empanada with ground beef, red peppers, olives, egg, and onion, and saying it was fantastic is honestly an understatement. It had that perfect “wow, this is actually really good” reaction from both of us.

The flavor was excellent, the filling was rich and balanced, and one empanada is the perfect amount to curb your appetite. Two would definitely be a full meal.

My girlfriend and I both agreed it was absolutely fantastic. Simple, delicious, and memorable. Huge wow factor. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Best açaí ever!! They literally let you pick unlimited toppings, comparatively to other açaí places I have ordered from, they charge me $2 per extra topping after 3 toppings. And the staff is so friendly! What else could you want from a neighborhood açaí shop? 10/10 I wish I lived in the area so I could go everyday. Love yall!!“

“Biggest thing to know is that is cash only. The place is very compact, but homey.
Good food, and well seasoned. Only issue was how expensive it was. Parking is a little tough, but worth it for a little piece of Central America here in LA. Posting the latest menu updates circa 09/2024“

“Nonna's is a storefront restaurant, with 1 or 2 tabletops inside and 3 or 3 picnic type tables outside. Although pleasant in appearance, it is located on a very busy street in Beverly Hills, near Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The food is outstanding with many different flavors of empanadas. They offer both savory, vegan, no meat, and sweet varieties. There is also a choice between mild or spicy chimmichuri sauces, Tapatio, or ketchup. I've found no place better and they have Farmers Market and Downtown locations as well. The only other downside is parking is at a premium here, but spots are available if you are city parking wiz!“
