“Great place to go and forget about everyday problems. Bar crowd immediately welcomes you in and there are no status symbols or titles. Everyone is treated equal. Better than going to a therapist. Drinks are memorable with Casey or Randy (Owner) slinging the beverages. The bonus is you can bring in your own food. Whether it be a bag of chips or a fancy meal no judgement is there. Service animals are welcome too. Life is normal here and definitely I will be coming back to find a new happy space.“

“This place is a ‘hidden’ gem. The oysters were fresh and include west coast and east coast offerings. The poke was also fresh and very good. “I have been eating at Mandarin Taste since I was 4 years old. Since when they used to have to polaroid pictures taped to the wall where you waited for your seat. Since the shopping center was a thriving place for business.
I have been gone from the area for years now, but I came home over the summer and after a shopping trip at Brea Mall, I craved some Szechwan beef and nostalgia. Upon walking in, we noticed some small changes. The polaroid pictures are gone (mines was up there!) but everything else was exactly the same. Including the staff. They have of course aged as we all have, but I remember them in their younger years. We ordered all our old favorites. The pu-pu platter, chow mein, fried rice, and Szechwan beef. All of it tasted exactly the way it did the last time we had it. The consistency of this place is insane and much appreciated. The service was good too. I don't have any issues with Mandarin Taste and we always had great food and a good time here over so many years. Graduations, births, birthdays, and job promotions. All celebrated here. It made me sad to see the shopping center as desolate as it was. In the 80's and 90's, it was a busy place and again, many memories being there. I'm glad to see that Mandarin Taste has been able to remain and among so much change, they have been able to stay the same. Thanks for the memories. Please support this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.“

“That's a great place if you wanna hang out and watch the games. was packed by 10:30am on a Sunday morning. My kids enjoyed all the sandwiches drinks whatever came through our table of 20. they're not a breakfast place thats for sure, not many choices. we had a pretty large group and most of our breakfast was cold. the waitress kicked butt, she was really good and very sweet. the guys helping deliver the food not happy looked overwhelmed.. Refills well we had to keep on asking...“

“Been coming here for more than a decade now. All time favorite spot to get sushi! Their AYCE is fair price, and the rice to filling ratio is excellent. Personally, I'm not a fan of sushi spots where the rice is just too much compared to the rest. This place has it down.“

The Fresno fig was tasty! The truffle fries as a side upgrade were deliciousss, and the brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing, but rather small. Only complaint is the prices being high, at $18+ for a burger 🤷‍♀️“

A large assortment of flavorful IPAs and Ciders. They also handpicke flavors for their signature Mezcal straight from the distillery in Michoacàn, Mexico. They are kind to give you samples before you order a drink. I sampled the Ogopogo and it was very refreshing and citrus enriched flavor.The drink I order was the "spicy dead lady". This was a very delicious mezcal mixed drink. Smooth and refreshing with a delicious mixed of flavors. The portions are generous and the spicy bitters is definitely a zinger once it touches your taste buds. Overall a great drink to enjoy on a beautiful sunny day.“

Ordered Pacifico ON TAP, was amazing. No Guinness. But plenty of mixed drinks. Kitchen was closed today so didn't try any food. Waitresses are very fine, but I'm a gentleman. I took some time to look around. They offer outside patio with fireplace and inside bar seating. The parking for the spot was low-key a mission, if it's busy good luck. Parking is like a block away but not far. It's pretty cool, just don't drink and drive since the PD is on the same block as parking lol. I'd come back with my friends or for a nice meet up spot.“
