“My wife and I are big fans of Thai cuisine, and last night we decided to try Signature Thai Bistro. We were intrigued because it occupies the same space as Supatra's, a spot we used to frequent years ago before the change in ownership. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly within a minute of our arrival. My wife follows a gluten-free vegan diet, and Thai food has always been a reliable choice for her. She called in advance to ensure options were available, and the staff was accommodating. Our server, Paul, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the kitchen was informed about my wife's dietary needs, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Mango Mood drink: Another hit, beautifully balanced and refreshing. Wine: A familiar choice for my wife that paired well with the meal. String Beans and Eggplant: Very delicious, with bold and flavorful seasoning. Crying Tiger: Unfortunately, this dish didn't meet my expectations and is one we wouldn't recommend. Overall, the food was excellent, aside from the Crying Tiger, and the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Paul for his attentiveness and genuine kindness. Claudia hooked it up with the libations. She made it happen. I mean you won’t get Clase Azul here but you’ll get first class food and service.

I had no idea the food was going to be on point as it was and it surprised me. You expect bar food, but this food is on another level. Fresh made tortilla chips served hot with mouth watering and juicy tacos. I had the asada and al pastor. Served hot and fresh.

Claudia and the chef Josh made it real nice for the experience. I highly recommend if you’re in Santa Ana. It’s dark in there so when we came out the doors at 5p you definitely need sun shades or time to adjust.

“If you are into dive bars, this is a good one. It's actually really chill inside and the patrons that come here are just looking to have a good time and maybe chat with some cool bikini bartenders.
We usually stop in after a game for some pool and drinks and have always had great service and not too long of a wait for a game of pool. Drinks are average to good prices and the girls are quick with the service.

It's become a tradition in our family—my wife celebrates her birthday there every year on Cinco de Mayo (we call it “Cinco de Kimo”), and it's always a great experience. The food is consistently excellent. The shrimp enchiladas are her go-to and absolutely worth it every time. we also had the short rib taquitos recently and it was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. And the margaritas? “We had an absolutely amazing experience at Top of The V! We celebrated an early Mother’s Day dinner with friends, and it turned out to be such a memorable and special evening for all of us.

The ambiance was elegant yet very welcoming, and the stunning view overlooking Disneyland made the night feel even more magical. Sharing great food, laughter, and wonderful company while enjoying the beautiful scenery created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration.

The food was exceptional from start to finish. The aged steak was cooked perfectly tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The paella was rich and full of flavor, and the short ribs were incredibly soft and savory. We also loved the desserts, which were the perfect ending to such a wonderful meal. Every dish was beautifully presented and truly impressive.

What made our experience even more memorable was the outstanding hospitality. Our server, Brisa, was phenomenal. She was always smiling, attentive, accommodating, professional, and genuinely warm throughout the entire evening. “I have been eating at Mandarin Taste since I was 4 years old. Since when they used to have to polaroid pictures taped to the wall where you waited for your seat. Since the shopping center was a thriving place for business.
I have been gone from the area for years now, but I came home over the summer and after a shopping trip at Brea Mall, I craved some Szechwan beef and nostalgia. Upon walking in, we noticed some small changes. The polaroid pictures are gone (mines was up there!) but everything else was exactly the same. Including the staff. They have of course aged as we all have, but I remember them in their younger years. We ordered all our old favorites. The pu-pu platter, chow mein, fried rice, and Szechwan beef. All of it tasted exactly the way it did the last time we had it. The consistency of this place is insane and much appreciated. The service was good too. I don't have any issues with Mandarin Taste and we always had great food and a good time here over so many years. Graduations, births, birthdays, and job promotions. All celebrated here. It made me sad to see the shopping center as desolate as it was. In the 80's and 90's, it was a busy place and again, many memories being there. I'm glad to see that Mandarin Taste has been able to remain and among so much change, they have been able to stay the same. Thanks for the memories. Please support this restaurant. I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Sometimes 1-2 hour wait for dinner. They have entertainment on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They also have great Happy Hour specials M-F.
