Outdoor dining nice
Lovely Italian restaurant with a non-stereotypical menu. Tons of outside seating and a quiet couple of tables inside. Flavors are excellent.
This was our second visit and decided to try all different things. Just like our first experience, everything we had was delicious. Our server was excellent and the vibe was energetic yet relaxed. As I scanned the other diners, everyone was smiling and enjoying. A Montecito gem!

Ancora Osteria is a new Italian restaurant in Montecito that has quickly become a favorite. The restaurant offers a lovely ambience with a cozy atmosphere, decor, and an outside patio that is comfortable and quiet. Guests have enjoyed a beautiful breeze and a wonderful view of the mountains from the outdoor seating. The service is warm, attentive, and remarkably efficient, with staff making everyone feel genuinely welcome.
The food is delicious and receives high praise. Reviewers have enjoyed the refreshing beat salad, pizza, pasta, and the most delicious Tiramisu. The Insalata Mista, a Little Gem salad with the best light but flavorful dressing, was a hit, as was the focaccia served with a light homemade butter. The arancini, caesar salad, francobolli pasta, and ribeye filet were all delicious, as were the mushroom and short rib pastas, which were sublime. The Romini Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, and the Pollo Arrosto was beautifully prepared tender roasted chicken with broccoli rabe, tomato, and chimichurri. Desserts like tiramisu and gelato topped off the meals perfectly. Portion sizes are ample, presentation is appreciated, and nothing is loaded down with garlic. The vibe is energetic yet relaxed, and the restaurant also has a great wine selection. Ancora Osteria is a Montecito gem and a wonderful new addition.
