“One of our go-to bars in Santa Barbara. Tristan is a great mixologist. The La Vie En Rose is a fantastic cocktail, maybe the best in town. Lucky’s Revenge is also delicious. We prefer to order it with gin. Haven’t had too much of the food offerings but been pleased with what we’ve had. Highly recommend this spot to all our friends. Plus there’s live music Wednesday nights!“
“A bit pricey for tapas but some of the portions are significantly larger than traditional tapas so I guess it all evens out. This is a cute spot on the Mesa which gives a dark, very intimate atmosphere. My friends and I splurged and got lots of different plates to share - our favorites were the Brussels sprouts, Lamburghini sliders, and Gambas Alcazar. We also got the patatas bravas, sweet potato fries, pollo con crema tacos, and some Brie sauce. Definitely a nice date spot, and I'm interested in trying their cocktails next time. Service was a little slow as we came in near the end of the night, but our waitress was kind to split our check 4-ways, so I made sure to tip her accordingly.“
“Excellent Funk Zone Burger! You can tell that quality ingredients are used as one would expect from this well-known Santa Barbara family. Burger was cooked perfectly with tasty cheddar, served on a toasted brioche bun . Also had fries and a beer. Nice relaxed place to get a burger. I’ve purchased (excellent) meat from their butcher shop, this was my first time eating at the restaurant in this location. I’ll definitely return.Support small business, shop local!“
“If I could give Gabi and team 10/10 stars I would. They not only knocked our rehearsal dinner and welcome party out of the park but they are the kindest people you will ever meet. They opened up their business to us like it was their home and their food and wine selection shows. “Cozy bar with an open floor plan. Happy hour deals are ridiculously affordable. Having it every weekday and Saturday for peak hours is awesome.Had the clam chowder bread bowl with Caesar salad. Very good and filling. Had a couple beers. Not much selection on draft, but had a few beers that were good like Pacifico and the Santa Barbara Brewing company blonde ale.Friends had tacos which were good but probably were not as filling since they helped themselves to eat more food later.Fried calamari was very good. TheSeating is a bit tight and not as easy to move around. Space is at a premium. If you get there early, there is parking in the lot at the back of the restaurant.It was quite loud and required sometimes to repeat words and sentences to communicate.Wait staff was attentive and friendly. There was one time we had to wait a few mins, but it was during dinner rush, so understandable the staff couldn't be in 2 places at once.Still highly recommended for the happy hours from 4 or 5pm to close.“
“Came here for brunch while in town for a wedding, and everything was delightful. We chose to share the hangover and the salmon Benedict and while both were delicious, the same, and Benedict was the unanimous winner. Our server Riley was so friendly and attentive. We will be back!“
“Lovely cocktails, friendly staff at this lobby bar. The Empress was light and nicely balanced. Seats at the bar are fine, but expect to see hotel guests and kids passing through. Better option, grab a seat out on the lovely patio. Worth checking out.“
“My partner and I came into town from Los Angeles for an early Valentine's Day weekend. Blackbird had amazing reviews so we decided to reserve a table. Highly recommend for date night or small dinner party. Drinks are beautiful, delicious and strong. Chef and team have a wonderful and (omg) delicious menu. The service was A+. Our server was just wonderful and knew the menu well. We left so happy. Thank you. Can't wait to come back.“
“First, the pizza is really good! They sure know how to make good pizza. My chicken salad was not worth the price, no fresh veggies and the chicken was flavorless.The pasta Alfredo was delicious. The lemonade drinks are pretty good.Nice and big location, perfect to bring the family for any occasion.Very affordable prices and good customer service.“
“Nichole at The Revere room is such a gem! The first time I met her she was the server for our menu tasting for our wedding. She did such a lovely job and was so wonderful to be around. She made the experience that much better. We came back a few weeks later for brunch and she was our server again! We were so excited to see her. We love dining here and the food is always so good, but the great service really makes it!“
