This place used to be a tea place that switched, and I came here by mistake. However, I gave the latte a try. It wasn't tasty at all and it cost $7, the wait is insane, over 20 minutes that I did not even get the food. There is limited street parking, but there is a big parking garage underground for this Plaza area. Overall, disappointing experience.

I can never have regular pancakes after visiting Gram Cafe.
They are known for their Japanese suffle pancakes but they serve some amazing dishes. Like this Wagyu Curry, featuring tender beef and a rich poached egg.
And this Chicken Karaage Salad with perfectly seasoned crispy chicken and a refreshing dressing.
But the real star of the show are the shuffle pancakes. They have mastered this unique recipe that creates the most pillowy, soft and airy. They have different toppings, we chose the original and mango. The original one was just fantastic. and the mango was so fresh, they use real mango chunks and the mango syrup was not overly sweet. It was perfectly balanced.
We finished off with something very unique which was a matcha adffogato and it was so rich, velvety and the matcha was so vibrant. And the crushed pistachios on top just elevated it so much.
Gram Café is where comfort and flavor come together in the most delicious way possible.

One of the greatest joys in life is exploring delicious food with my daughter.

This time, we went to Gram Cafe in Monterey Park and ordered the best takoyaki (the best I’ve ever had!), wagyu beef curry, chicken karrage curry, and hazelnut chocolate soufflé. Everything was so delicious, and the service was excellent as well! It was such a wonderful dinner! ?

The food was good and the service was okay. The novelty pancakes were not anything exciting.

I went there on August 1st and my diaphragm took a long time. At that time, the environment and service were good, but we found short curly hairs in the food. Although we ordered another portion later, we couldn't eat it anymore and it tasted quite sour. We decided not to go back a second time.

I love this place so much. Yes, they're known for their pancakes, but the savory food and drinks are just as worth coming here for.

I've invited (nay...demanded?) many different friends here - old to young, girly-girl to manly-man, and everyone has loved it here. For a while I was afraid to come during the weekend because the wait was intense, but this past time, Gram seemed like the perfect place based on location and type of food. 11a on a Saturday, joined the waitlist on our way there, which placed us at about a 11:23a seating, and it was right on time. Even with a longer waiting line than weekdays, it felt like we could sit down and catch up.

I have to say all the servers here are fantastic. At different times with different servers, they've all been so sweet, patient and helpful (yes, even the weekend time). They are also just the right amount of attentive.

My favorite coffee drink here is the ube latte, they get a very good mix of coffee and ube here so you get both and the perfect amount of sweetness. I do really love the plain pancakes, but the salted egg yolk is such a treat as well. I would recommend not getting the mango sago just because if you're a fan of mango sticky rice, you expect that chew, but you get a very airy, soft pancake so it's a little confusing.

A friend once got the french toast and I ribbed her for getting it *at a pancake place*. And well...it was really good french toast. I don't know if I can say it's the best french toast I've had, but it was quite good. I would still place priority on ordering the pancakes here because it's more special, it's floofier than other places I've had jiggly pancakes. But begrudgingly, I will admit the french toast is a solid choice.

I've had a lot of their savory foods and they've all been delicious. My favorite is the karaage salad. The quality is great, piled high for beauty, but is deliciously filling, though not heavy. All of their curries and tempura hits the cozy, comfy zone.

Follow the directions for the movie theatre parking, it's more direct.

Parking: Park on the level where the directions for the theatre are.

Kid-friendliness: Seen lots of kids here. I came with a friend in a stroller and they found a great table for us that held space for a stroller and moved chairs for us.

Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is flat, easy to roll a wheelchair in.

Curry itself is good.
Pork tonkatsu is small size.
Note: if you are hungry and can't wait, about 25 min ~30min or more time, then this is not the place
Take too long one dish come out
