Got the hotpot to go and they're still doing the special menu where everything is provided for, even the pot! (Or you can sub with extra pound of meat) Everything for 50 bucks! Went for the korean army set, and there was plenty of food, especially meat! It was definitely more than just one meal for two people, I still had leftovers after my eating the leftovers! It was all nicely packaged for pickup with no worry of spills or anything. I definitely would come back just go save myself the thinking of what to buy for hot pot because they already did it for me! The only thing I wasn't sure what to do with is the cheese..

Why did we wait this long to go back???? We did hot pot to go, and it was great. We ordered the Beef DIY Hotpot Set. Everything is provided for, and all you have to worry about is how you are going to finish up all the delicious food, from beef, chicken, clams to veggies (enoki, corn, wood ear, cabbage) and fish balls and imitation crab, not to mention the glass noodles, 3 types of dipping sauce and 2 (preset) beverages. The hot pot set comes with 2 simple ladles & fuel. If you forego the hot pot set, you can get more meat instead. The two of us definitely over-ate, and we still had some leftover. You have to order and pay in advance. The restaurant is only open Friday through Sunday. Just choose the broth and meat you want. When you pick up the set, they will provide brief instructions on how to use the fuel/pot. My only "complaint" is that the meat was still somewhat frozen at pick up, so give yourself some time to defrost. If you feel like hot pot, this is a must do.

COVID happened and I was seriously craving hotpot - thank god for Uniboil (and LAist for the news article featuring them)! They had (and hopefully still have) a fantastic take-out deal - $50 for ~2lbs of meat + 2 full container of veggies + 1 full container of soy products & (meat/fish) balls. The meat was very fresh. They also included dipping sauce (although we needed more than given but thankfully had the necessary sauces at home), 2 drinks, and 2 face masks (a nice touch!) Most critical part was that it came with ladles / pot / fuel (so clutch)!! If you don't need the equipment, they will add in an extra pound of meat instead! At the time, we had to do pick-up since we were out of range for UberEats but it was SO worth the drive from the westside! (Visited 4.20.20)

Disappointed, picked up my $50+ togo special and saw there was a yelp checkin and thought awesome, bonus! Got there and asked about the yelp checkin drink and guy would not honor it. What a load of crap.

Another Covid Special review: Before I will you about their amazing delivery service from Monterey Park to Yorba Linda in OC, how I found out they do delivers is thru a story on one of the news.ktla? I forgot where, but it was very heart trenching on seeing how much the business's struggle and almost closed. And yet they fight it to adapt and stay afloat. So I was touched by their story, so I decided to look them up on FB to try to find their menu. The irony, I have had their shabu in Rowland heights once and I did not like it. But I thought just give them a chance and at least I don't have to make a trip to an Asian market to gather and prep my own shabu at home. So I inquire. The owner ( I believe that's who I messaged on FB) was very responsive and helpful. And since I was only order two orders of their meal, it wasn't enough mass for them to deliver so out of their way. So he created a post for me to share to see if anyone in my area would like one. And surprising enough there is a small pick up on it and they did go through and delivered 30+ miles out FOR FREE! Not to mention their shabu set value is amazing! For $50, $50! You get a pot ( think personal pot with soup ladle ) with fuel, 2 drinks ( boba milk tea and passion fruit green tea), 1 lb of meat, soup broth, a box of veggie , a tub of glass noodles and a box of some extra meatball or sausages and spam depending what set you pick. All of which comes in a thermal reusable tote bag for out to keep! With free delivery! It's a steal!! It is meant for two people, but could easily feed 3 people. A bit about on what I ordered. I ordered their set D Korean army pot. Since I usually make my own shabu, Japanese stylebbwith goma and ponzu sauces, I thought let me order something I don't usually make at home. And if you look on their Yelp page , it seems like that's the most popular dish. And I am very glad with my choice! The soup broth is not on their broth menu , but a special kimchi broth, a little bit spicy but not overwhelming. You get a ton of veggies, like corn and cabbage, and even a pack of shin instant noodles and mozzarella cheese for the melt! It's so GOOD! And you got to know instant noodles and spam are high commodities during this time. So just that you made your money worth. It truly is a great meal. And I would recommend substitute the pot for another lb of meat instead. Just because I already had a stove and pots. The pot they give you is a bit small. But I did end up using it for a small non spicy pot for my kid. So it's still very useful. If you like hotpot, give them a shot, you will not regret. And order direct from them if you live nearby, all delivery service charge business 30% commission. After commission there really is nothing left for them to make and to pay their employees. Support local small business! A side note for the owner, please have your covid special menu more available and list your broths on it. I had to look up Yelp to find your broth option, since I am almost a first timer for this location. Your Yelp presence are much stronger than your FB. So if you can put in more pictures for your usual dine in pots to indicate/showcase your sets. It would be more helpful for others to order.

We got the delivery set up and the food and prep was perfect. I hope you guys stay in business long past this pandemic because we want to go and eat there in person next time. Your restaurant gave us a reason to go to that plaza again!

A solid hot pot joint in the AMC plaza (which can be a hassle for parking so FYI there are multiple locations!) Came for lunch one day. pick your soup base, then pick your meats and extra add ons ---angus beef with spicy hot soup: also served over a flame like they do at boiling point I was able to finish the entire dish (usually at hot pot I have left overs) so they might not offer as much food as other places

It’s individual hot pot. They have keto and vegetarian options. They have a ton of options for teas and milk teas. There is a $1 charge when you use a credit card.

They have a keto hotpot. It's hard to eat out on keto, but this place makes it easy.

Located in the same plaza as the AMC. It's to the left of AMC next to the parking garage entrance/exit. Service could be a lot better. If you have questions on an item on the menu, you have to repeat yourself multiple times. I had asked if the shrimp was peeled or unpeeled, the waitress looked at my confused and said "I don't know what you mean" --- asked again and she said that yes they are peeled... (turns out they're not). The food is good however. It hits the spot on a cold night, and the food arrives fairly quickly. If you order the seafood it comes on the side frozen on a plate.

I love the hot pot here! My favorite soup bases are the Thai Tom yum and the sukiyaki. The angus beef is my favorite meat. This hot pot is unique because it comes with all the toppings inside. I often have shabu shabu where the toppings are dipped into broth. It's cool to have your own personal little hot pot and fire going that cooks your meat and veggies and noodles. They also have keto hot pot now which is really cool! They have a sauce bar where you can choose your own sauces and make a concoction of your own. And you can always get more broth! I usually eat all the toppings with rice (you can get a side of rice or noodles per your choosing) and then get more broth and eat the rest of the toppings as a soup. So warm and inviting!
