I first visited this amazing local deli in 1989-1990. I remembered the half loaves of bread stacked high with a pile of my choice of meats and cheeses. Although I was only 18-19, Compagno’s established my standard for an amazing sandwich.
32 years later I brought my sons here for lunch. Same delicious goodness a generation later.
Best deli on central coast! Not flashy or fancy. Just good sandwiches on amazing breads!
The sandwiches are huge, and worth every penny. The full size sandwich fed 4 of us (and we’re big people!). We tried their potato salad, pasta salad, and broccoli salad, and everything was so good we couldn’t decide which one to use for our daughter’s upcoming baby shower - so we’ll probably buy every one.😂
They have a large selection of chips, cookies, sodas and beer as well, including some German beers.
