My first time at this restaurant. My kind of place. I ordered the Fiesta burger with their slaw. We also ordered a basket of onion rings. The food was delicious and plentiful. Only negative was our server must have had a bad day. Not very personable. I truly hope it was just because her day had been difficult. Definitely will go back.

The burger was epic. The service was great. There were a few old grandpa-looking men playing cards at lunchtime. It seems like that's their routine. It was a really friendly atmosphere, like walking into your grandparents' house for Sunday dinner with your dad manning the grill.

The server was extremely disrespectful from the very start. This establishment seems to be prejudiced towards anyone who is not related to the military or police. I wish google would let me leave a 0 star review. The food was good, but I don’t trust that it wasn’t messed with. This experience was ridiculous. We left a tip because I myself have been a server in the past, but this lady needs to be fired. If you don’t like your job just say that…

If you love Burgers check this place out !!!!! I'll be back for sure. They also have other good grub worth the visit if you live in historic old town.

My favorite place to get a burger in Monterey. Quality is always great and the prices don't hurt your wallet.
Set up up with a party table, took our orders and it was provided to the correct person.They split our checks up by each group and handled the night great.

We have dined at Duffy's over the years but not for quite a while. On this last visit, we decided to order some food to go. It was wonderful! My husband had the yummy Irish Stew with beef, potatoes and carrots which he loved and also ordered a Chili Beef Dog, which he said was as good as it gets! I ordered the Sourdough Patty Melt with Cheddar Cheese and Grilled Onions and Fries. We also got a Cobb Salad with Turkey, our favorite. Everything was excellent! I want to sample the Garden Burger, next time. We see lots more items we want to try in the future and we'll be back soon. Nestled next to DLI, I love that it caters to the hard-working students who are mastering languages like Mandarin, Korean, Arabic and many others who need a good, reliable restaurant for comfort food and a nice atmosphere, both inside and out. A not-to-be missed Monterey tradition - check it out!!!
