I liked their bagels. Unfortunately, they closed the business as of June 30, 2023.

The variety of bagels was literally overwhelming. I am of course easily overwhelmed when offered to many great choices. I’m a connoisseur of bagels which made it even harder for me to choose. I finally did choose and I really enjoyed my choice. I have vowed to go back and sample each bagel. I highly recommend Einstein Bros. Bagels.

This location is NOT accessible to the general public. Google/the business needs to update this location posting.

Google doesn’t mention that it is on the local army base and non-military people cannot enter. Wish it was mentioned online before we were denied at the gate

I drove across Monterey only to find that the shop is on an Army base and not open to the general public. Might be something to mention in search pages.

Tuesdays are the pizza bagel meal combo. Get there early to beat the lunch rush!

Great selection, staff very friendly.

Just a heads up, this Einsteins is not accessible to the public. It is on base and is a franchise. Doesn't take rewards.

Get coffee to keep you from falling asleep during your Tin Barn brief.

If you are on Presidio of Monterey and are passing by the Tin House, you should pull on in and swing by Einstein Bagel for a coffee. This is the only bagel shop on Presidio serving all of the Defense Language School staff and students. They are always busy, but it drops of just after eight when all the classes start. The parking is next to non-existence since all the spots are reserved for staff and faculty. Park in the lot below and just walk on up. Drop off your mail at the same time since the USPS is sharing a wall with Einstein's. But seriously don't expect to find parking.

The staff and quality of food here is great but the wait time can get long during peak hours.

A decent place for bagels. A bit pricey, but all in all decent.

Was looking forward to eating here as it was not mentioned anywhere online that you need military access. Unfortunately, I was not allowed in because of this and it was very disappointing. This detail should be more clear so those who are non-military will not have to waste time like I did.

Very inefficient service. Customers wait in line 30 minutes at a time. It is especially frustrating considering that schools have only 45-60 minutes for lunch. Premade sandwiches would eliminate the wait issue so that the customers can just grab and go…

Slow lines and long wait times, but worth it for the quality food
