Thank you for not judging me dine in with my cat?. I married my wife here, now I’m divorcing, wandering at this wharf. However the food here are soul healing, and the vibes is similar to my hometown 蓬莱 in China, where people also eats in a boats by the wharf. I will be back with a new girlfriend. First time at Sandbar- we wanted lunch at a scenic restaurant. There was no wait. The inside is more like a very casual diner vibe. We grabbed a table by the window, and it was nice to see the boats docked, and a couple drove by as well. The free bread and butter was terrible. It was as hard as a rock...maybe they gave us stale bread, idk. I got the prawns and avocado on sourdough. It was an open face sandwich, but I don’t think the menu described it that way. The best calamari we have ever had. The fisb and chips and clam chowder were also right up there. Right at water level with a view of the marina, seals and otters. Lots of locals here which usually tells a story itself. My highest recommendation!
