I was torn as to what to rate this restaurant because I had them menudo , which was very good. On that alone, I would give it a 4+ stars. However, it was quite expensive. We also ordered some hard shell tacos, which were not very good. I was surprised about that. The service was less than average, although the waiter we had was very friendly. They seem disorganized. Haven't been here in years, but this is still the gem of Moreno Valley Mexican food we remembered and loved. Menudo and Pazole are some of the best money can buy still. The homemade tortillas are a can't miss. So if your in the area give this family run business a go, you won't be disappointed ?

Last to go I bought ( not cheap) was large Albondigus..the carrots were so tough I couldn't eat them .like really old field/ horse carrots..the broth is really good..I make my own now..save me $20!( Soup and an enchilada!). You never know when they are open either .got to call first.
