“So I'm from Southern California, where the real Mexican food is real and true. I moved up here and I have yet to find a real Mexican restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food without trying to substitute Anaheim peppers for Poblano peppers on their Chile Relleno. Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles use only Anaheim Peppers.“
“They just started karaoke there on Wednesday nights starting at 7pm. Not many singers, so we got to sing a lot of songs. Great sound system. Appreciative crowd at the bar. Low key. Enforced dress code. One drawback is food is only available on weekends. But, if you're a karaoke afficianado you will have fun.“
“Westside Grill is our go-to restaurant in Gilroy. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is appropriate for casual meals as well as special celebrations. Service is efficient and friendly. (We are grateful they have not started adding a surcharge to the bill for employee benefits as some restaurants have.)“
“I love this place. They rotate beers constantly and always have a huge selection of fruited sours and seltzers that you just don't find anywhere else a lot of the time. They also keep a wide selection of IPAs and stouts. There's something for everyone. I honestly can't rave enough about their selection. I'm a fan of all our little downtown tap houses but Overflow carries so many options that are always so tasty, it's tough not to play favorites. We bring our pup with us and the owner always brings him a fresh bowl of water when we walk in. He's literally treated like a paying customer and he doesn't even drink yet (he's a baby). They have a cute patio out back with plenty of seating at large picnic style tables and heat lamps if you want to get away from the TVs and activity inside. Side note: we even shot our Christmas card photo out here If we want to sit out front and watch the downtown instead, the owner offers to bring out some chairs for us to sit on. It's such a cool little spot and we've always been treated kindly. I love seeing our little downtown flourish with inviting spots like this and hope for more to come. Thanks Overflow for providing awesome drinks and a fun spot to hang out with our pup!“
“Best food & service in San Jose area club house. Their lunch and dinner are both amazing and such a great wine lists with reasonable bottle prices. My best was Lobster Sandwitch (lunch), Oysters, Grilled Avocado, Wagyu Meatballs, Dry-aged steak and Lobster Ravioli. You can see beautiful golf courses from balcony table with a little fireplace.“
“Service was great. Friendly staff that was eager to help you. I would have rated 5 stars on atmosphere but there was a bunch of kids that were unattended by the parents that were screaming and running around the entire place. This was extremely annoying and took away from the otherwise great atmosphere.“
