“Yo, the pizzas here are the real deal. The kids pizza (3 toppings of their choice) are massive (see photo) twice the size of my sons face. We got the GOAT pizza, as recommended by the man behind the recipe. Thin crust, amazing texture. We also ordered the soups- minestrone and tomato- generous servings. They were pretty busy on a Wednesday night, so get there early.“

“We were greeted nicely and seated immediately. Loved the ambiance! They have a beautiful full bar. We ordered the large Caesar salad and it came with anchovies on top, nice touch! The Lettuce was fresh, crispy and dressing was very good, I would have like a lemon wedge for some additional acidity. We shared the chicken picatta and it came with yummy penne pasta and steamed vegetables. Pasta was 5 stars! Chicken was a bit tough but had nice flavor and the veggies were a bit undercooked. The dinner rolls that came with dinner were 5 stars-- crispy crust, Soft warm center and delicious flavor. We ordered Mom's cheesecake--OMG!! It was truly the best I've ever had in a restaurant--5+ stars. I'm sorry I didn't get a pic of the cheesecake to post. Friendly waitress and excellent service!! When we were seated we were given a carafe of water, which was appreciated. Will definitely revisit when we are passing through again“

“Looking for some great Shasta stories from locals? Come here. Warm and cheerful Victoria will serve you a cold drink and the locals are more than happy to share Mt. Shasta tales with you. Cordially talking to other patrons, I received so many stories about Big Foot and alien activity in the area. I feel like I could write a book just from stopping by here. It was so much fun for my group of friends to hang out at Vets Club. Chris, the owner, came in to change out the ATM and was so humble. He talked with everyone. We didn't even realize he was an owner until we saw him doing multiple jobs. All around great place and vibe. Inexpensive drinks, toasty fireplace, juke box and fun atmosphere. Must stop if you are looking for a drink with unforgettable stories. Thank you Chris and Victoria for making it extra nice for us. 5 stars.“
