Over many many years of trying all places in town the coffee break is ALWAYS CONSISTENT! When i order something ive tried that i like, i know it will taste the same as how i got it last time. That is SO important. Other places when ordering the same thing, its like you never know if what you're wanting is going to taste how it was previously ordered.
The lady here is so kind and remembers faces. Im just in love with the consistency, flavor and chai!
I see some wierd reviews in here. Wondering why people don't kindly mention this in person to the owner.
I've also noticed people who show up at businesses feeling entitled with all their own expectations, attitude ect, recieve just that. When we are kind to small business owners, they 99% of the time are kind back!!!!
Starbucks overcharges and no one bats an eye! But when theres a small business, every thing they do is judged and looked at.
I've NEVER ONCE had a bad drink here and really feels so much better then the corp next door!!!!!!
Thank you the coffee break for offering this town the option to choose you!

My husband and I were just passing through town looking for coffee. Glad we stopped by. My husband’s mocha and my green tea frapp far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place.

Figured I would try and support a local business and fellow veteran versus the Starbucks across the street.
After paying 4 dollars for a simple coffee I doubt I will be going here again and will just end up going back to the Starbucks from now on and unfortunately support a mass corporation instead.
It almost seems like every establishment in Mt. Shastsa, besides Starbucks and Burger King, feel they can charge insane prices because of the Mt Shasta name.
Pretty sad honestly!
One should not have to rob a bank to get a simple coffee!
I go here regularly for my peppermint hot chocolate (much better than Starbucks across the street). The owner is always friendly and efficient, getting you in and out quickly. I'll always choose to go here <3

Best coffee in the county and the owner is an absolute gem. We are so lucky to have an alternative like The Coffee Brake instead of having to settle for corporate coffee. Also, she has great tea options from Choice Organics! YUM
The lady that runs this place was so kind and helpful to us from out of town. Helped us find where we were going and some great places to visit! Highly recommend and delicious coffee to boot, Mexican Mocha is my favorite!!!

A great little spot to get some tasty Espresso. I also opted for a Chai latte, which had a great bite and smooth finish
