“Call Lil place I didn’t see anywhere where it said they don’t serve breakfast all day. Just came up here to get breakfast thinking you could get breakfast all day like you normally would add a café, but they don’t serve breakfast all day which is a bummer.“

“In the early stages of The COVID-19 Experience, like everyone else in the world, my husband and I faithfully obeyed the quarantine regimen. We enjoyed it in the beginning, making up recipes to use up the food in the cabinets , playing dominoes, cocktail hour ( that was way more than an hour and started a little earlier than standard time). It was almost fun. But by week 7 or 8, cabin fever struck. Depression struck. Fear and anxiety overwhelmed. I thought life as we knew it was done. I thought we'd never enjoy anything again. Then I read something about a restaurant " up the hill" . It had somehow figured out a way to serve people delicious food in the gorgeous outdoors in a safe and efficient way. My husband and I ventured out on an exciting date. Life felt exciting and almost normal! If I told you that day was such a promising pick-me-up, tonic, even a cure for the COVID blues, it would be an understatement. It was a beautiful day, blue skies, clean crisp air. Everyone was pleasant and nervously friendly. We got delicious tri-tip sandwiches and one beer each . They had a properly distanced line, plexiglass shields, and an effective pick up method. I just would like to thank you all at Sugarloaf for restoring some sense of normalcy in a time of crisis. You lifted our spirits in a dark time. My husband and I cannot thank you enough.“

Nice little area. Food was plentyful. Definitely options for everyone. Waitress was patient, helpful and quick.

We sat outside since it was a bit stuffy inside but it was warm that weekend.

“Service was friendly and quick. I ordered to go. I got the San Francisco burger side of mashed potatoes, sooo good, and Cheese curds. I didn't get a picture of the food...i ate it to fast. With that said in general I am not a burger person I need to be craving one....this one was delicious 😋“

“Long frustrating wait time almost ruined the experience. No hostess. Large group in front of us. Another group tried to cut ahead of us. Finally we were seated after much stress and anxiety. Food was good. Service was friendly but lacking, as they forgot things, for us as well as table next to us, basics like had to ask for water, also not just us. Forgot a side that we ordered. Forgot ranch for the table next to us. Took a long time for anything as servers would disappear for long periods of time. Other tables servers would actively avoid your attempt to get their attention since they didn't want to be bothered with tables that weren't theirs.
Food is was very good although again had to wait and it showed. Got a Caesar salad and Margherita pizza. Pizza was on the lukewarm side by the time it made it to our table as well as slightly more soft than one of would expect for out of the oven, clearly had been sitting on the counter. Despite that, still tasty.
Live music was pretty good, ambiance minus the service was good. Next time we'll skip all the wait and order take out unless mentally ready to spent two hours here between waiting and finally paying the check to leave.“
