“I work close to here and love the food. It's a cool spot to get lunch during the workday when the weather is nice.I usually order on door dash for pickup and walk down with my office mates. You can usually get a table, but it does get crowded, especially at lunch time. They have lots of vegan options, which is great! Definitely recommend the vegan potato thali.The only thing that could use improvement is the service. They are always very busy, and have lots of takeout orders. It makes things a little chaotic, and they get a bit mixed up sometimes. Don't eat here if you are in a hurry - you might have to wait a bit for them to sort things out.Overall I recommend this place if you happen to be in the area.Vegetarian options: Vegan stuff! “I have been to this place only a handful of times. Each time the food quality and service never ceases to amaze me. The food is spectacularly delicious. The service is quick. Don' t let that deter you in thinking the food quality must lack. On the contrary, they use fresh ingredients and the fact that they are so busy they food turn over is great. you know you are getting fresh cooked food. Hands down the best pakistani/indian restaurant in the bay area. I recommend the halwa puri thali on the weekends and the spinach gosht on the weekdays with garlic naan.“
“We went here for dinner on a Thursday. There were 4 people in front of us in line to order. But there was enough seating for all of us. The only problem was - tables. They were not cleaned after people let them.The food was delicious! No two minds about this. In some aspects, even better than Zareens. We ordered their Lamb chops, Grilled fish, Signature Chicken Tikka, Signature Seekh Kabob and Garlic Naan. Seekh Kabob and the grilled fish was just okay. But the Signature Chicken Tikka and Lamb chops were divine! To wash all the food down, we also ordered Cane Sugar juice. It was pressed fresh in front of us.I will definitely be back for more!“
“Interesting paki/Indian food. I think they added a twist to some things with the burgers and the wraps. The kebab burger patty had some interesting spices. The dahi puri was good but I wish I didn't take it to go as it gets soggy quickly.Really cool concept tho and the good was tasty so I def recommend“
“Tl;dl Chicken. Chicken Legs.Ok let me give some background. Before Shah there was a wonderful Pakistani restaurant called Shalimar and at one time they expanded everywhere including Sunnyvale but now you need to go to Fremont (the original one) to taste it.And once Shalimar moved out of Sunnyvale I come to Shah if I don't feel like going to Fremont. Btw there is also Shan Restaurant nearby so don't be confused.Shah serves Pakistani food which is basically the same as Northern Indian food (but Indians won't include Pakistani in the name whereas most Pakistan restaurants will say Pakistani and Indian food.).The interesting thing about Pakistani restaurants is their tandoori chicken is usually better tasting than Indian restaurants maybe because they bake them fresh instead of serving them in buffets. Hence the chickens are moist and flavorful. There is a slight kick to it so make sure you prepare for it. It's also bone in but I highly recommend you try the chicken legs. But of course you can opt for chicken breast which is bigger but less flavorful.The naan is also amazing since it's also baked fresh from the tandoori oven. The naan here is slightly thinner than those from Shalimar so I like them better here.The restaurant is clean and bigger than it looks from outside.This is a no hassle restaurant so you get tea, utensils and water yourself. I kinda like it that way. Also tipping is really optional so do it if you want to but not required. The server is usually fairly nice and they will bring out your food after you order and pay.Overall I like the restaurant and it's next to the strip mall next to El Pollo Loco.“
“The last time I came here was before they remodeled, they had a buffet back then too! The food here is delicious. They offer many different kinds of breads, tandoori options, curries and biryanis. Here is what I tried recently: Nirali lamb (not on the menu, our server told us about it) Chicken keema naan Garlic naan Lamb biryani Chicken leg quarter tandoori Chicken boti kabab My favorite was the nirali lamb and the tandoori leq quarter. Every time I think about it I want to come back! Few notes: - 15% service charge added to all done in orders - Street parking is available - Naan was too charred on the back (might be a one off thing) - check their timings, they are closed on particular days so plan accordingly Lastly...expect to be here for a long time, for us it took about 20 minutes to get our order taken and 45 minutes to get our food. Some parties were getting their orders taken sooner after arrival.“

“Visited multiple times for lunch and dinner, tried multiple varities like veg and non-veg appetizers, veg and non-veg biryanies and veg and non-veg curries with roti. Food was delicious and had good time. Ambience was good now as they had new seating which looks cool.“
“Food here was excellent. The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that there is no indoor space or seating. But still worth it. I believe the other locations might have indoor seating, but I've never been and don't know.“
