I like Roger and always had a good experiences. Last night was a bit different. I booked for my friend b day and there was a huge private party. We were surrounded by them. Even though service was nice, they just hurried to take our wine glasses and dishes. It would be much nicer if they informed me that they would have a private event prior to the visit.

This place was one of my fav place to go for brunch with friends and families. I also attended several events throughout the years but it's no more the hip, friendly and great place to go for food. The food quality was mediocre & choices are limited and service is so lacking that I don't think I will ever go back.

Every Christmas we go to Roger's for their prime rib special. And every year is veterans good. The prime rib is always cooked to perfection and is flavorful and tender. We'll keep going cause it's the best kept secret in Mountain View. The sides are always unique and good as well.

Great meal and service by Crystal. Anna and Alex. I am just sad to see so many regular staff leaving or already gone. Roger Bar would be wise to hang on to their best workers.

Xmas eve dinner for 5. Waiter assigned large party of 12 after our party of 5 were seated. He then lost track of our prix fixe Meal flow. Our prime rib arrived cold after we had to get waiter's attention that we were ready for it. The computer delivering food is a joke. Next time, I will insist food be brought by wait staff.

For a hotel restaurant/bar, they seemed out of stock of ingredients we ordered. The server kept telling us they were out of stock on the first 3 drinks we ordered; prosecco, Jack Daniel's, their “holiday special” cocktail...wasn't a great way to start off. But the staff was very nice and food was very good. It's always a pleasure to spend time at the hotel.

Came for brunch with my kids and had mixed results. My all-American scramble was disappointing—overcooked eggs, hard bacon, and hashbrowns arrived at the very end. The server was hard to flag down, so I couldn't mention it until we were leaving. My daughter's buttered noodles were partially hard/undercooked, though my son's pepperoni pizza was very good. Service felt rushed and inattentive despite plenty of staff. Overall, the experience was underwhelming for the price, though I might give it another try since it seems to have potential.

I would give zero stars for the quality of food and zero for the service.

We chose to go out to dinner on thanksgiving instead of staying home and cooking. Service was poor! Food was substandard low quality. We thought we had a choice of traditional Turkey meal or their full menu. Which was advertised on their website. This was not the case. I ordered some appetizers and the fries were not hot and they had no flavor. They were sprinkled with what looked and tasted like canned Parmesan cheese! My adult son ordered a Shirley temple and they brought it to him on a plastic cup with a top on it and a straw! The rest of us ordered cocktails and they were in glass as they should be. The server had to be summoned instead of checking us we were ignored. I ordered the Roger Burger and that was a mess. They asked how I wanted it cooked I said medium. The burger was so hard I could not cut the burger in half without making a mess of the soggy bun. My son ordered the traditional thanksgivings dinner and that consisted of 2 medallion sized rolled turkey breast sliced with herbs in the middle and a blob of mashed potatoes. The cornbread was a miniature sized muffin. I sent my burger back and they asked what's wrong with it. They don't even offer to make it right!! The food didn't even look appetizing. The only good thing I can say about that place is the seating near the fireplace was nice ambiance. We didn't even know who our server was.

Food was good, but nothing special. Service was below average as they left us unattended for far too long on multiple occasions. A bit loud inside.

Please update your online menu to match your current menus. It's annoying.
The roasted cabbage was delicious. The most expensive 8 pieces of cabbage I have ever had.

We've eaten here many times, but this was the first with the new menu. Overall, old menu was better. The burger was always our go-to, but it wasn't nearly as good as the old one. Same with the salted fries, which used to be an appetizer but now come with the burger. Not as thin and crispy as the old ones.

We have been coming to Roger for the past 3 years on a regular basis to meet with old friends. The food is good (though it would be nice if the menu rotated or had new items added for r specials.) We had the worst service last night. We asked our server to come back in 5 minutes because we weren't quite ready to order. Our server never came back and after about 20 minutes we finally grabbed someone who said they would get our waiter and never did. So a little while later we finally got someone to take our order. No one ever came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or needed anything. And we had to get someone to get us our bill after waiting for someone to get our bill for another 20-30 minutes. It has seriously caused us to not want to come back.

All four of us enjoyed the food. But service was inattentive and inexperienced. No water refill, didn't ask if we wanted a second drink, or if our food was OK. The table next to us had to go get a server as no one ever came over to them. Our first five tries of wine by the glass orders were not available. Kinda odd... Don't think I will go back.
