I wish to love this place as much as I used to, but the last three times have been subpar on all fronts. Vanissa (the server) is wonderful, and that made up for today's 40-minute wait for our food, which was okay at best.

The food and cocktails were great, as per usual. However, the service lacked. We were told we had to pay halfway through our meal—which was awkward—because apparently their service was ending but we were assured the bar would remain open. Then, we wanted to order a second round of cocktails but when we walked over to the bar to do so, the bartender said they had “closed cocktails early because it was slow” and refused to make us cocktails! Only offered beer or wine. This was during their open hours. Not sure I'll want to come back here if their service is so inconsistent to paying customers.

A sad decline of a once unbelievable brunch spot. Sent back a smoked salmon benedict uneaten to the kitchen after noting off flavors. My friend's "All American Breakfast" was edible but underwhelming. Also ordered the Chilaquiles; these were the standout item of the brunch. Interestingly, even though an entire plate went back uneaten, there was no offer to pull the item off the check. This is a disappointing service failure for a hotel with a $450+/night room rate. I didn't ask, as a note - I just expect it from an upper rate hotel trying to provide an upper rate experience. FAIL. Will not be back, which is a shame. Will not book. It was a spot I used to look forward to visiting.

I made reservations for dinner with customers and all of us were super satisfied with everything especially Anny's service.

Great spot with ample parking. Food is great but selection could be larger and portions could be larger for the price. Quality food and service. Good drinks menu.

Lovely dining room, very friendly and fun team took care of us and our steak, katsu, roasted cauliflower and panzanela salad were excellent. Also, the Opolo Cabernet was superb. To top it off there was great live music making it a perfect date night out!

Once we got seated the waiter came back like 5 times and we needed to order more. She the. Comes back just in time to tell us it's last call.

We had a great experience, especially with our server, Camil. We had a huge group that kept changing over the course of the week. They were so helpful and never made us feel like a pain. The food is always great. Camil went out of her way especially for the amount of people we had. We will be going back again!

Bar choices and mixologists behind the bar are great! Very friendly, professional, and know their craft. The waiter at our table was a little lost. We had to remind him a few times about orders, drinks, etc. Very cozy outside area. Live music is a great addition to Saturday nights. Food is good, it's not mind blowing but it's very good. Simple menu to cater for different tastes. I wish they would have at least one steak cut available. That would definitely complete the menu.

Food was good and the location/ambience is nice.

This time we had the American scramble and the eggs Benedict. Both were quite good. Eggs don't have to bee scrambled; I had sunny side up and they were done perfectly.

They do good fries. Skip the hash brown patty for the breakfast potatoes.

Previously we've had the Dutch baby and a adobo chicken sandwich. The Dutch baby was excellent. The adobo chicken was slightly dry. We've also had the cheeseburger which was quite good too.

The decor seems to be aviation themed. Roger is in the Ameswell hotel which presumably was named after NASA Ames. The menu included "Roger" spelled out in Morse code. But no extra space between the dits and the dahs between letters so a little hard to read.

Unreliable Reservations & Poor Customer Service

As regular customers who visit almost every weekend, we’re deeply disappointed by our experience today. I made a reservation for six guests outdoors, with some of our party traveling a considerable distance to join us. I emphasized that an outdoor table was essential, and we received two confirmations via text and email, reassuring us the reservation was set.

However, when we arrived on time, they informed us that there was no table available for us at all. The explanations were vague and contradictory — first, it was that “a group of eight walked in and took the table.” Then, another staff member claimed their system prioritizes certain reservations over others. If that’s true, why confirm our reservation multiple times, including 15 minutes prior?

Instead of offering a genuine solution, they only proposed a cramped, last-minute setup indoors, which was completely unsuitable and disregarded our original request.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been disappointed. The quality of service has been declining, and recent menu changes have not been for the better. Paying over $25 for bland flatbread and experiencing lukewarm customer service is disappointing, but we kept coming back for the ambiance. After today, though, it’s clear they have little regard for loyal customers or honoring confirmed reservations.

We won’t be returning. This experience showed us that reservations here mean nothing, and we ended up taking our business elsewhere.

Great atmosphere, but the bar staff has no idea what they're doing and doesn't want or need to sell anything. The cocktails (Aperol Spritz and Gin Tonic) tasted horrible and people started filling them up with water to make them drinkable. Very pricey on top of that. Would not recommend.

Great hotel bar! Friendly staff that remembers your name, even if it's been months since you visited last. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Happy hour from 4-6pm
