Roger Bar and Restaurant

We went to a comedy show there on Thursday night. The show was okay, but you could tell they were new comedians, still working through material. Very nice bar and hotel lobby. The food was pretty good. Didn't think to take a picture before we ate. I did take a couple of pictures of the bar and the comedians.

Food was ok, drinks were great, service was very slow.

The Friday night music was very nice. There was a Phillipino dude who sang a cover of one of Elvis Presley's songs!

There's also free 3 hour parking for visitors!

Everything here is amazing! From the food and service, to the overall atmosphere, this place does it right! The robot server is cool to watch, as well.

Everything we had: Humus, Fries (the spicy aioli was superb), caesar, steak was very tasty. Drinks also good. Service was fine if not outstanding and the robot delivery was kitschy.

I really enjoy the Roger's atmosphere but there live music is way too loud and makes it difficult to have a conversation. Food is consistently good but I wish there were more specials. The gnocchi is delicious as are the flatbread pizzas.

We had reservations for Mother's Day lunch. We were seated immediately in a half full restaurant. It took 15 minutes for a server to come by and acknowledge us. When she did, we were told that if we intended to order food, (and what else would we be doing in a restaurant on Mother's Day?) We could expect to wait 45 to 50 minutes. We ordered a round of drinks and food. Only four drinks arrived and we had to hunt down our server for the forgotten fifth drink. When our food finally arrived, each of the five entrees arrived cold, as though they had been sitting out for quite some time. The food tasted as though it could have been good if it had been served warm. I would consider visiting the bar again as the drinks were good but everything about the service and the restaurant was an expensive disappointment on Mother's Day

Unfortunately we did not stay to order. After being seated in the patio we asked to move since it was cold and windy. They said it was fine to take a seat in the sun at a low table fire pit. It hadn't been cleaned since previous guest, but we sat there. My daughter and I waited for 15 minutes and since no service we decided to leave. Let hostess know. She apologized and only asked if we had ordered something. Really loved the hotel next door, but not sure would attempt the restaurant again.

I wish to love this place as much as I used to, but the last three times have been subpar on all fronts. Vanissa (the server) is wonderful, and that made up for today's 40-minute wait for our food, which was okay at best.

The food and cocktails were great, as per usual. However, the service lacked. We were told we had to pay halfway through our meal—which was awkward—because apparently their service was ending but we were assured the bar would remain open. Then, we wanted to order a second round of cocktails but when we walked over to the bar to do so, the bartender said they had “closed cocktails early because it was slow” and refused to make us cocktails! Only offered beer or wine. This was during their open hours. Not sure I'll want to come back here if their service is so inconsistent to paying customers.

A sad decline of a once unbelievable brunch spot. Sent back a smoked salmon benedict uneaten to the kitchen after noting off flavors. My friend's "All American Breakfast" was edible but underwhelming. Also ordered the Chilaquiles; these were the standout item of the brunch. Interestingly, even though an entire plate went back uneaten, there was no offer to pull the item off the check. This is a disappointing service failure for a hotel with a $450+/night room rate. I didn't ask, as a note - I just expect it from an upper rate hotel trying to provide an upper rate experience. FAIL. Will not be back, which is a shame. Will not book. It was a spot I used to look forward to visiting.

I made reservations for dinner with customers and all of us were super satisfied with everything especially Anny's service.

Great spot with ample parking. Food is great but selection could be larger and portions could be larger for the price. Quality food and service. Good drinks menu.

Lovely dining room, very friendly and fun team took care of us and our steak, katsu, roasted cauliflower and panzanela salad were excellent. Also, the Opolo Cabernet was superb. To top it off there was great live music making it a perfect date night out!

Once we got seated the waiter came back like 5 times and we needed to order more. She the. Comes back just in time to tell us it's last call.
