We had been here before they closed and it was mediocre at best. Since they opened under new ownership they have been trying to get things on track and they are doing everything they can to make it great again. The few times we've been recently Madison has been fantastic! I hope I got the name right.
We stopped in for dinner the other night. We didn't realize they were under a new ownership. The menu is simplified. I got the fried chicken. It was excellent. The batter was crisp and light. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was accompanied with a baked potato, excellent meal. The staff is still figuring things out, but very attentive and the service was excellent. This place is hip and trendy but the food is also great! I had the Tavern Burger which was delicious and had a very great time there... The Space Dust IPA was a hit for me and the overall atmosphere was chill, relaxing, and fun. Service was great, they were very busy on this night and the kitchen was cranking out the orders quickly. There were many things on the menu I'd like to go back and try.
