We started with the shrimp empanadas. . . mmm! They were an explosion of flavor! Each bite was absolutely satisfying. I said to my Honey, “I wish we came during the week, because I would order more to go to take to the office!”

Next, we tried the pescado zarandeado and wow. Just WOW!!! Stole the show for sure! The fish was beautifully marinated with a smoky flavor and cooked to perfection! Paired with warm fresh hand made tortillas. It was a heavenly combination.

To top it all off, the service was impeccable. TBH, we felt right at home. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations.

They were gorgeous in color, the perfect crisp, even the tartar sauce was good although not filled to the top but it definitely didn’t come out of a package. I always order the chicken yakisoba and the baked salmon roll. This time my husband wanted spicy tuna and I wanted a crunch roll. The waitress saw that we couldn't decide which one to get, knowing we didn't want to order both, she recommended the spicy tuna crunch roll...which is now one of my favorites there. “This is the second location of Thai Spoon from Highland,CA. When I am unable to go to the Highland location… or I am not in Highland…. I visit Thai Spoon 2. I have only made phone orders, but I haven’t picked up the order myself as my relatives do. One of the things I do like is that this specific location will make spicier soups less spicy such as the Coconut Soup (:This helps me as I am not able to eat super spicy foods.. I wish I could. However, that was how I was made. One of the items I wish they would bring back is the All wrapped up which is an appetizer I LOVED !!! I miss it so much! It was Shrimp wrapped in crunchy noodles with a cream inside. It was my favorite item, but I understand the menu changes. I just wish I could try it one more time. I loved it that much.

“My first time visiting. I was amazed at how fresh the ingredients in the food were. I had the chicken soup which was the BEST I have ever eaten. An entire boneless chicken breast in the broth with potatoes, corn on the cob, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Served with a side of Spanish rice that I added to the soup. Delightful.

I also had the shrimp ceviche tostada that was incredibly fresh and delicious. And the corn tortilla that it was served on never got soggy!

“I’ve been eating from here for about a decade. The food all around is great. I will always order the Camarones Toreados. Stuffed yellow peppers with cheese and shrimp wrapped in bacon and fried. It’s one of the best plates they have there. One tip, they offer bigger portions when you dine in, and give smaller portions to go.
