Because my wife was out of town, I was on my own for dinner on a Friday night. I had heard about Black Bear’s all-you-can-eat fish fry, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The fish was hot, flavorful, seasoned well (but not too salty), and satisfying. My first plate came with two large pieces, and I ordered and received two more. The waitress kindly asked if I wanted malt vinegar, which I did, and the dinner also came with tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. There...

Recently had breakfast here on a Tuesday morning. Walked in with no waiting. Comfortable booths. Good coffee. Huge servings. Good service as well. Traditional breakfast restaurant perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.
