We ordered everything to share, and it was all fantastic - yuzu chili glass noodles, eggplant, the lamb with french beans, and the daikon rice cakes. The Somm was easy to chat with and picked out a yummy rhone wine (Crozes-Hermitage) which paired well with everything.“

The Squirrel cried out about being hungry and wanted to go to the Taco La Michoacana Truck for the Chimichangas because they're the best! I told him okay, get as many as you want because he's only working for 10 bucks an hour anyway, he sets his own price and it always includes a lunch. “Well, there I was just driving along minding my own business when all the sudden I spotted a taco truck that I haven't enjoyed before, well I can fix that oversight, so in I pulled.The line wasn't long and moved at a good pace, indicating solid teamwork from the kitchen. The aromas coming from the kitchen were amazing and I hoped the food was just as good, well..It wasn't! It was better, the tacos were perfect in flavor, texture and spice as were the beans.5 stars.“

“After the Andrea Bocelli concert, our group of 16 was looking for a place open late — and we stumbled upon Habaneros, this incredible taqueria tucked away in the valley. We arrived around midnight and, despite the darker setting and humble vibe, we decided to stay. Best decision of the night.

We ordered quesadillas, molitos, tacos, bolitos — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I had a michelada that instantly brought back memories of my trip to Mexico City ten years ago.

To be honest, I’m not usually a fan of Mexican food in Canada, as I’ve lost that emotional connection over the years — but Habaneros reignited my love for real, authentic Mexican cuisine.

What made the night even more special was chatting with the owner, a kind and passionate man from Mexico City, who made us feel right at home. The service was simple and warm, the kind that makes you feel like you’re at a friend’s house.

“Ordered the torta pierna. The sandwich was massive, big enough for two. Loaded with tender meat, melty cheese, fresh salsa, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and pickled jalapenos. It was delicious and dripping with flavor. Amazing meal for the price.“

“Dear Jack in the Box on Trancas Ave in Napa, We had a terrible earthquake this morning. Hours later, when it was finally light, my daughter and I looked at our trashed home, we decided we needed food and coffee before we could begin the clean up. We had no power and decided to drive somewhere, anywhere, to find food and coffee. The problem was that the power outage and damage extended far beyond our neighborhood, but throughout the city of Napa. Every store, gas station, retailer was closed, many blocked off with yellow security tape. Then, I spotted your restaurant...open...and turned in. A Jack in the Box employee was letting the people in the line of cars know, they only had coffee. For no charge, with cream and sugar and a smile! Your business was damaged too, and in the middle of clean up. Whoever had the idea to provide this service, is my hero for the day! Thank you so much. Katrena Edman“
